@@PlinkyVR It's actually not, I heard that from somewhere once but after I made that comment I decided to look it up. In WW2 there were ~76,000 planes destroyed or otherwise irreparably damaged, currently there are over 200,000 aircraft registered with the FAA. (although "aircraft" covers helicopters and gliders too, not just planes)

It would be awesome if the Zero had an kamikaze option at the end of the skill tree. Like it would strip you of machine guns and repairs, but put a big ass bomb on it that could kill any land vehicle. Would be dope in my opinion

That’s actually true every time in tank arcade battle in a bomber after you get off your bomb load you just crash into the enemy
Fun fact: i won a game by crashing into the last truck in arcade... I mean i also yeeted a 500 kg bomb at it as well but it was mostly the very big plane going into its windshield

That shot at 5:55 with the plane getting hit and spiraling into the cliff has to be the most cinematic thing I have ever seen in a video game. That feels real on an uncanny level.
It's good to see some more Battlefield 5, as it is a fun game, but no one seems to ever play it anymore. Glad to see it's coming back a little.

The devs themselves literally said they gave up, it's surprising the game is still going on
Pacific storm was the update the game needed. It was the update that finally told us the direction it was heading and kinda redeemed itself with the community but then EA decided to end development of the game. Star Wars Battlefront II also had the same treatment.
Get a neat update then murdered.
Game is enjoyable as it was when I played the many previous titles of BF. I LOVE running around being a medic or just an aggresive pathfinder recon. c:

I... I worry about humanity. Literally one concern / potential weakness of how advanced our (US) military is becoming is how few aircraft, tanks, ships, etc. we can afford to buy/build now due to how utterly complex they are compared to their WW2 counterparts.
Yeah. Whats scary is that as stealth gets better and better, BFM is becoming more important because theres a even greater chance than like 30 years ago that jets would go to a merge. So we went from WW1 planes and flying less than a 500 feet from each other, to WW2 dogfighting in the first dawn of dogfighting strategy, Korea-vietnam where missiles were introduced and gun kills were becoming more uncommon, to full on BVR priority in the cold war, back to BFM in modern ages with million dollar jets with high tech radars and missiles that can go 60 miles

I came from a farm background where you're disciplined for being a whiner, and rewarded with good hard work. Dawn to dusk is filled with work. So personally, I cant understand how people turned into this. Sometimes I think we're at the point where weak men are starting to create hard times, which will in the future create strong men and women.

And WW1. People underestimate how crucial the air was in WW1, arguably more crucial than WW2 but thats very very debatable. Not only were they tremendously important for strategic bombing, they were also very good as propaganda like the Red Baron

I just came here at this game from 1 year not seeing any gameplay of it and I can say the planes are so unrealistic compared to war thunder, I know that even in war thunder they aren’t the best but they at least have some physics

@@evilmortysmith1008 I would join in the conversation but I'm guessing the invention is only for villains. I wanted to add that being able to take hits is sort of an advantage for single player games. I would steer clear of nerfing everything with that minset because you would make some things unplayable. Game developers screw up by adding the stuff to began with.
Surviving a hit from a single shot weapon for exsample lets say a sniper. If they got a good shot, then it should be game over for you fair and square. Instead of you surviving and killing them with your machine gun which shoots way faster.
This is a problem in fallout 76 which made sniper rifles useless in pvp. It was acceptable there because pvp wasn't the main focus unlike here. Do planes need to be nerfed? Perhaps, but your reasoning doesn't sound like a solid reason to do so. There shouldn't be any expectation you would survive a hit from anything in the pvp of realistic or simi realistic games, especially those that promote thinking stealth, and tactics.
Dang these battles look so realistic, especially these battles of the island of iwo jima and that stuff, i like it
