How does it perform? Off road pipes sound great but drop the bottom torque out of an engine that needs some back pressure for all around performance at every twist of the throttle . These pipes are hard to dyno tune. I love the sound but I smoke my friends with these pipes with my breakout setup . They ride my bike and they can’t believe the sick torque all the way through the power curve .
Lost my license twice, the next time i get busted again they will cancel my license and crush my bike. Sadly the speed limit is 10 to 35 miles per hour maximum :(

Great, radical Harley idle enhanced by those Cam's and build. Rocking it in the land down under? -With the best brand in the world. About $3k if I'm not mistaken for the 110 build. Looking to get a new breakout, 2018, Black, chrome V&H big radius, Stage One, Chrome SE heavy breather, chrome HD wheels and some other upgrades. Sweet ride there.
Humm, not sure if the high output 103 is better. Heard stories of some bugs being worked out of the new 8.Not sure how I feel about partial water cooling too. More maintenance.

if that was a car, and it turned over hard like that, I'd say the timing is way advanced. Sounds excellent though. Starting it sounds to be very hard on the starter.
sorry, I dont know what mod u did. The exhaust would not do that. At the worst case, you would just need to find a "gear reduction" starter that can handle turning it over. And maybe a higher amperage battery.
Ah yea... I did a 110 stage 3 on my 2017 breakout (wanted the stage 5, but it would have voided my warranty in Canada) and have had a couple issues starting the bike when the engine is hot. The Screamin Eagle compensator seems to have a hard time dealing with the compression when starting the bike with a hot engine, causing the primary chain to jam. This happened a few times to me, and ended up breaking a couple teeth off the starter ring gear. I took it to my Harley dealer and they told me this was a known issue with the 103 to SE 110 upgrade. Luckily for me the damage was covered under warranty as they ended up replacing the whole clutch, and installing a higher amp battery. They also said that a new map for the SE Tuner will hopefully be released this fall that will reduce the compression on starting. That new map can't come soon enough... That said, I have been looking at replacing the Screamin Eagle compensator with a Baker Compensator Sprocket Kit. Cheers!
i was told to get 110ci from S&S because they dont have chain driven gear but there are no dealers in my city for S&S plus it would void my warranty so i had to get with SE stage 5 tire shredder :(
Yeah before only a few people would look when they hear my bike now just about everyone looks because my engine is bigger and makes much louder noises lol.
A beautiful bike. I had one of these 3 years ago. Candy red. 103ci and stage 2. A lovely ride...untill the corners. The handling was awfull. Possibly the worst handling bike I have ridden in 40 years of motorcyling. It can't be otherwise analysing the stretched wheelbase and fat rear tyre. As my riding was mostly town based with lots of tight roundabouts, it was just not fun so I had to sell her after a year. And the rear tyre in the rain on the Paris cobblestones in winter was hairy to say the least. Shame because I miss the looks, the great smooth engine, the superb riding position but couldn't fight the cornering problem forever. So I'm back on a Fatbob. If most of your riding is straight lines or long curves, it's a great bike though. Nice seeing it in action again. Nota abike for 2up. Enjoy. You can move the handle bars up an inch with spacers from spacermike in the states without mods to the controls. It really makes a (comfortable) difference.

Harley Breakout Guy So very sorry for your loss sir. I cannot imagine anything worse. Im not a religious man, but definitely believe in the afterlife. I suffered a heart attack 7 yrs ago and flatlined for 1.7 seconds. Obviously I survived but I saw a glimpse of death and it was so incredibly wonderful, I did not want to "come back". I hope this brings some comfort to you sir.

Have you had the bike dyno tuned? Or just had the dealership load the standard settings through the SE Super Tuner? Any idea on the power and torque it is putting out? Can your tire handle the torque in first and second gear?

People drive more expensive cars than even the most expensive Harley (42k) in town, all day every day. Get insurance and keep a solid 2-3k in the bank at all times. That’s just proper life choices my dawg.

It cost me $5500 installed at Frasers ... Perth Harley wanted to charge me $6500. I dont recommend it for Perth you will lose that gentle Harley cruise relaxing ride ... and it is also 3 times louder at least ... everyone now stare at me even cops when i drive pass. Luckily no cops stopped me yet and fined me.

I guess if the cops want to get you they get you anyway. I have went passed traffic police and petrol cars many times no problem. Just that stupid day one asshole cops didn't like me or my bike. Wrong place wrong time.
My bike is no longer innocent and i can no longer cruise :( it bucks like a horse if i ride like i used to ... I regretted it ... i cant really test the power out because i will instantly break the law and that means impound and license termination ... I just want it because i am an idiot thinking with the heart and not the mind :) I do not recommend it ... the power yes i can feel the difference but is it worth it? no not really i personally now regretted it ... i wished i traded my bike on a Street Glide Special because i wanted to ride across the country and enjoy life ...
I've rode in my past. 1st Triumph Daytona (1967) 2nd Harley 883 (1968) 3rd Norton (1974 ?) last, 4th: Kawasaki 900.....best was the Sportster(magneto)......Now I ride expensive bicycles.

I noticed that bikers in your country don’t salute each other when passing by... here it is standard because we are weak road users.

drag pipes sound different anyway. I have Vance and Hines on my Bagger. I actually left in the baffles.
I dont have baffles, it is a straight pipe - when i put quiet baffles in, my bike engine got damaged because i have a modded engine.

They also said that a new map for the SE Tuner will hopefully be released this fall that will reduce the compression on starting. That new map can't come soon enough... That said, I have been looking at replacing the Screamin Eagle compensator with a Baker Compensator Sprocket Kit. Cheers!
i was told to get 110ci from S&S because they dont have chain driven gear but there are no dealers in my city for S&S plus it would void my warranty so i had to get with SE stage 5 tire shredder :(

A beautiful bike. I had one of these 3 years ago. Candy red. 103ci and stage 2. A lovely ride...untill the corners. The handling was awfull. Possibly the worst handling bike I have ridden in 40 years of motorcyling. It can't be otherwise analysing the stretched wheelbase and fat rear tyre. As my riding was mostly town based with lots of tight roundabouts, it was just not fun so I had to sell her after a year. And the rear tyre in the rain on the Paris cobblestones in winter was hairy to say the least. Shame because I miss the looks, the great smooth engine, the superb riding position but couldn't fight the cornering problem forever. So I'm back on a Fatbob. If most of your riding is straight lines or long curves, it's a great bike though. Nice seeing it in action again. Nota abike for 2up. Enjoy. You can move the handle bars up an inch with spacers from spacermike in the states without mods to the controls. It really makes a (comfortable) difference.

Harley Breakout Guy So very sorry for your loss sir. I cannot imagine anything worse. Im not a religious man, but definitely believe in the afterlife. I suffered a heart attack 7 yrs ago and flatlined for 1.7 seconds. Obviously I survived but I saw a glimpse of death and it was so incredibly wonderful, I did not want to "come back". I hope this brings some comfort to you sir.

Have you had the bike dyno tuned? Or just had the dealership load the standard settings through the SE Super Tuner? Any idea on the power and torque it is putting out? Can your tire handle the torque in first and second gear?
we just had it dyno tuned now our bike runs really well.

People drive more expensive cars than even the most expensive Harley (42k) in town, all day every day. Get insurance and keep a solid 2-3k in the bank at all times. Sounds ok but too obnoxious for my taste. I like audible but deep, low tone. I bet that thing backfires like hell after you really get on it. Of course it's all personal preference but at 42 my hearing is already suffering from the abuse to my ears.

We use GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition with a Lapel mic but the mic is inside our shirt and behind our back to block the wind off.

It cost me $5500 installed at Frasers ... Perth Harley wanted to charge me $6500.
I dont recommend it for Perth you will lose that gentle Harley cruise relaxing ride ... and it is also 3 times louder at least ... everyone now stare at me even cops when i drive pass. Luckily no cops stopped me yet and fined me.

I guess if the cops want to get you they get you anyway. I have went passed traffic police and petrol cars many times no problem. Just that stupid day one asshole cops didn't like me or my bike. Wrong place wrong time.
My bike is no longer innocent and i can no longer cruise :( it bucks like a horse if i ride like i used to ...
I regretted it ... i cant really test the power out because i will instantly break the law and that means impound and license termination ...
