@@HOLLASOUNDS love the warp and how it can work with my MPC in standalone. I’m also fascinated with Ableton link and how multiple people can be synced up at once
This is a $69 update to me. Much of what's being offered is stuff other daws have had for over 10 years. But the Reason cult is strong. Powerful. Have to be careful when being critical of the DAW because less is more to them. I just wish they made Mimic more modern with sliced loops. Like the ability to change tempo on the fly like DJ software has been doing for 15+ years. Also I still wonder why custom tags was just glossed over? Maybe they need more people working at Reason Studios? Very slow to catch up to modern times.
I don't thinkthey would ever do a $69 doller update. Looks like they bassed these features off of Ableton mostly, I think the update looks pretty good. There isn't a Reason Cult, most of the long time Reason fans lefts when Reason plus come out. I'm critical more about there sales plans more then the DAW because of things like pricing for UK vs US, $199 and £199 are not the same, UK pays £40 more. I mention in the next video how the browser should have tempo match for samples they should play in time with your project.
@@HOLLASOUNDS THey have had some fire sales on Reason updates before. Based on how the DAW is selling and them needing new subscriptions to get more people interested they will drastically drop the upgrade price. I was Reason 12 going for that amount a few years back.
From what I see they do 3 1/3 sale and 2 1/2 sales every year, they need to fix the currency issue because I pay £40 more then Americans because its £199 and $199 they dont adjust for currency's.
