I’ve been in a wheelchair now for 11 years. I have the Trackchair with the standing option. It gets me outdoors. But as you also pointed out is that it’s very limited. Mine has zero suspension and if you hit a rock or a log it really jolts the body. I’m a t-12 paraplegic. And when I hit something it Hurts like hell Not to mention the low clearance of 3-4 inches. I’ve gotten hung up numerous times by bottoming out. I’m grateful for the chair and a great friend retired Army Colonel for fixing me up with a chair. But I would really love to try out one of these coyotes. But the insurance financing or military financing is something they don’t want to do. Especially the insurance companies. They deem it as not a necessity to continue my life.

I am a T7 - T8 complete going on 6ys. I've had the Action Trackchair since about August 2021. The VA bought it for me. They were hesitant at first, but when I explained the reasons I wanted it, they went ahead and got it for me.
I believe I have gel batteries that are just now seeing some degradation, but not much. Here in central Illinois, I use it just about everyday that it doesn't rain. Mud really sticks to those tracks, and can make a real mess in the garage. I only use it in the winter to plow the drive or take the trash down to the end of the lane, because I hate the cold.
The Trackchair has made me so independent that I have thought about buying one with my own money for a spare in case this one broke down. It is that important to me now. I have thought about making some videos to show everything I do with it to take care of these 2.5 acres. Half of it is wooded.
I would really like a Coyote too. Like you said in your video, they both have their uses. The 3-4mph on the Trackchair pretty much limits its use around the property since I do not have a trailer to haul it. I think they offered to let me get the hitch holder, but I think it would be too much on a vehicle's suspension. I would use this to do my grocery pickups. I would find a way to mount my wheelchair and do most of my errands with it. I could ride bikes with the kids and grandkids. The only prescription I take are vitamin D pills. I think the Coyote would eliminate the need for those.
We need like 3 maybe 4 of these. Wide body scat pack versions
It's nice to see companies have an interest in helping our less able-bodied peeps. The Outrider Coyote quite a bit of versatility.
I needed a wheelchair for a year.. the first thing I noticed when I could stand on crutches was standing face-to-face with someone I'm talking to. I always thought a Segway would make a free Mobility device

So @New KiNg just curious, what is your place in line and how long is the wait time to get your build and how many batteries did you go with?
The NT model of the ATC is 455 lbs. FYI...good job on the pro's and con's. Of the ATC. It does have a very slight vibration because of the tracks and more comfortable off road. I love my NT. I might be looking at the outrider though too.

That Coyote is sweet. Let's put it against the MONSTERCHAIR.
I'm interested in the torque? With it being geared to go 17 mph, what kind of hillclimbing capability does it have? It would be nice if there were gearing options. I've had quite a few power chairs over my 34 years in a chair. I've never had one, on or off road, that went 17 mph. The fastest chair I've had went 12 mph on flat ground. It struggled to go up hills.

Hi Andrea, the Coyote is good for about 7” of wet snow, and about 10” of dry snow. -20C is the minimum operating temp. 0C is the minimum charge temp unless pack heaters are added.

I was just informed today, by my Doctor, as long as my arms work my insurance will Never pay for a self propelled wheelchair😢, kinda took the wind outta my sails. I had my sights set on a Cyote

Are there programs for Veterans to get a Coyote through the VA or other organizations, purchase?

ATC would be my work ride, the standup feature would make cut duties much easier, and assist with more physical duties I require my body to still perform. The plow, maybe an auger mount, and some other assorted attachments…. And get ‘r done!
And then the Coyote to get back on the trails and stay active with the Bluez (my dogs), and the family.

How do you change a tire tube or torn tire if you're not capable of doing so and you're by yourself? I love the technology of your bike, but maintenance with so many moving parts is certainly a challenge and many of us cannot afford to find a repair shop, deliver the bike and pay for that kind of maintenance. I understand the track chair has maintenance needs as well, but not nearly as much as your bike. I was a competitive mountain biker before I was wounded in combat and have been looking for a product such as yours to renew my love of mountain biking, but the maintenance needed scares me.
Hi Booze, great question. The tire casing very robust so that in the very unlikely chance that you do get a flat, it can be run when flat to get you home. The machines are built to be very durable, and easy to service. The number of moving parts here is actually significantly less than an ATV, and probably less than a Trackchair. Also, someone that's pretty familiar with vehicle technology can wrench on our machine comfortably. All good questions! Cheers

Alan, the VA is just really tough to work with on this kind of equipment unfortunately. They don’t deem it essential, no magic words that I’m aware of yet. Call up Independence Fund and ask for one. If that doesn’t work, I would reach out to the Kelly Brush foundation. And if that doesn’t work, then we have had customers that have successfully raised funds through go fund me for the Coyote Compact 4WD. I hope this helps! Thanks, Tommy

Not really. Looks more like what I need for work, Action chair…. And what I would use for recreational use, the coyote. The coyote would be an absolute hinderance doing construction…. And the track chair has the obvious speed hinderance for faster mobility in recreation mode.
So, do you need to be a veteran to buy one????
Nope! They are available to everyone, it just might be easier to receiving funding from a foundation if you are a veteran, or have a physical disability
