Congrats with your new Girl. Hope she brings you a lot of joy and blessings. Thanks for sharing the exhibition. Have dun and keep the sparkles on. Lovies Yetta💕
Thank you so much Beth. It has been so much fun working on this video this week, she is so lovely. I’m happy to hear that you liked seeing the life sized Blythes. I felt lucky to stumble across them on someone’s video.
I really like the dolls with shorter hair, I hope there’s some new ones like that in the future. I love how you dressed Rainy Day Parade up. The dungarees and over the shoulder bag looked so cute together! ☔️🤍
@@aromastrinkets Thank you so much. Yes the shorter hair girls look very cute. The very first I bought had bobbed hair, but she wasn’t an authentic Blythe doll. I hope you get a short hair release in the future. I’ve really pleased with the dungarees, I might make another, and translate the instructions next time, rather than guessing how to make them. 😆
Enjoyed the footage from the exhibition, Claire, so much to see 😃 so many dolls, different outfits, different face shapes and hair, wonderful scenes, 😲 all in all simply AMAZING!!! Goodness, I'm certain you'd really love to be there! In fact, I'm winding back and watching all over again 😂 Good to see you popping up, a lovely episode once more ❤ hoping you're getting plenty of create n craft time in. Roll on that new craft room!! 🌥🌦🌧☔️☔️☔️
Thank you so much Rowan, gosh yes it was incredible, the blonde in the red dress was a 1972 Kenner blythe, there were a mixture of modern releases and older releases, and customised. There was definitely something for everyone. I really wish that I could be there. x
I loved watching this new video with Miss Rainy Day Parade, she's so darling! I love all her new outfits you made, you are so talented. I'm so glad you preordered Heavenly Strawberry 🍓. It was nice to see the My Doll Collection App, too, I feel more confident about using it myself now. And at the end of the video, what a treat!!! The Blythe art & displays are phenomenal!!! The life sized Blythe's are so amazing ❤❤❤
Thank you so much Laurie, you are so kind to say. How incredible was that doll exhibition in China! I think it was better than some I have seen in Japan. It looked so well put together. It looked costly to make! I wish I could have been there myself. I’m so happy to hear that you are now more confident to use the app.
@@ClaireWhoMakesThings that doll exhibition was the most wonderful I had ever seen, thanks to you, posting it here. How fun it would have been to wander around it together ❤
I love this dolly so much. She is on my wish list for sure. The pattern you sewed for her was a perfect selection. Your video was wonderful Claire. Thank you for sharing Rainy Day Parade with us.
She's so lovely and seems to look more like the Kenner Blythes. I had no idea about the different eye shapes until you pointed it out. Her own clothes looked wonderful but I also loved seeing her in what you made, just gorgeous! She really can wear anything 🤩. The show photos were fantastic and you must have been chuffed to see so many Blythes that you have ☺️ Lovely photos at the end too 🥰❤️🤗 p.s. I have the pdf of that Dolly*Dolly book but I haven't been brave enough to try sewing those dungarees. You did a great job Claire! 👏
Thank you so much Milly, yes I was so happy to dolls that have on display, it like seeing my own children! 😆 I am so happy that you mentioned the doll sewing book, I too have a PDF copy, I bought that first, but when I printed the patterns out at actual size, the bottom of all the pages were cropped off. I tried so many things to sort it out. So I bought the physical book, and it wasn’t cheap. I compared my original print outs to the book, and they are not even the same size! I have bought a number of PDf versions of the books, and I’ve not printed or sewn from them yet, but they saved differently to this book, so maybe the others are ok. I will let you know how I get on when I use them.
@@ClaireWhoMakesThings Thanks for letting me know Claire. I've only made a few things from the various pdf's from Etsy and I've been lucky. I did notice that a few printouts seemed off, maybe that's why I generally stick to Stitch by Stitch with Lily 😄. It's great that you have the actual book 🥰❤️🤗
