I want to tell you that there is one more place in Uttarakhand near Joshimath naming AULI. AULI is internationally famous for SKIING.In winter foreigners come there for skiing. Me and my family had gone there, it's a beautiful place. We can not say it unexplored but it's very scenic. You can spend some time near the Auli Lake, you can also tie tent there and can spend some hours there enjoying the whole place.
Also the roads to Auli from Joshimath is also very beautiful with trees on both sides of road.
For you guys that place will be really AWESOME.
