That textured gold vinyl always gives me a hard time. I love this cup and I think I wanna give it a try.
I finally made my version of this design. OMG! I am in love with this cup. However It did give me a lot of grief. Being fairly new to tumbler making I had to channel my inner WWJFD😁.
I had peaks and valleys and ultimately a muffin bottom. But I sanded and epoxy'd until smooth. And approximately 2 week and who knows how many coats of epoxy later. I finally finished. It is absoutely Gorgeous😍🥰. I made it for my sister, but I'm having a hard time letting go😂
Way to work it!! Tumbler making, like any skill takes practice and trial and error. This was a pretty advanced design to tackle so I’m proud of you for getting through it!

Oh my gosh sorry that decal gave you so much trouble! I know the feeling. I switched to weeding after placing for some of my more intricate designs too and it's been a game changer! So worth it though! I love this cup so much :)

That tumbler is so beautiful! The chunky glitter was an amazing color and everything just worked so well to come together. On another note Jess, your eye lashes were the bomb when you did your introduction - yowza!

Yes the epoxy is still wet when we add the black dyed, gold and white epoxy. Thank you ☺️

Could you use Modge podge as the urethane sealer?
I would use a clear gloss spray paint over mod podge.

Jessica would alcohol ink or paint work? I don’t have epoxy dye
I wouldnt recommend them for this design. Alcohol ink tends to turn to a shade of green and it will also look too transparent. The amount of blank paint you'd need to actually get good color when mixed with the epoxy would be too much causing the epoxy to turn into a gummy consistency. Epoxy dye is the way to go. It is pretty inexpensive. A little goes a long way and you will get a lot of use out of those little bottles.
