*I can already picture how C-C's consistent with this power move would look in a new-for-2019 paint scheme:* An Armour Yellow-nosed variant of the Southern Pacific "Black Widow" scheme with the silver numbers in the FHA 1 font (the three Excursions steamers kept at Cheyenne are a preview ;-) ): And a full-on UP coat-of-arms treatment on the engine covers with the Elk and Rockwell-font "PROUD HERITAGE * POWERFUL FUTURE" belt for the Crest; a 4-6-0 Cooke Class T-38 dexter supporter with Impact-font "DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION" on the tender; an EMD SD-40 or similar sinister supporter with Roman-font "We can handle it."; and a semi-throwback Shield with the Pearl Harbor-font gold "UNION PACIFIC" on azure at the chief, gold-script-and-Andale "The Strategic Middle Route" on an azure bend across the ruby-and-silver paly, and a gold underescroll with black Heinemann block-letter "BUILDING AMERICA". Still working on grounds for the coat-of-arms, but it'll probably need an FHA 1-font "SINCE" under the ten-wheeler and "1862." under the SD, both in silver to stick out from the gold rails, sinople green ballast and tawny embankment.
If that would have been a Canadian train, it would have had two lead locomotives, a mid train DPU and a back end DPU, just to take the strain off the knuckles. But it's UP and the do things the Wyoming way. Nice catch, thanks for the video Alan. Is it just me or do Texas warning bells sound different?
UP and BNSF only appear to use mid-train DPU's in mountains (Helper Districts), common practice on unit coal trains with rotary couplers, has 2 locomotive DPU's, some Intermodals 3 units up front.. Howard in Deep Park (East Houston), Texas
Awesome video. I just have a few questions. 1. How many trains run on the S line in Crystal Springs? 2. How many trains run on the A line from Plant city to Lakeland, as well as from Lakeland to Dade city without taking the S line there? And finally, how many trains run through Callahan on the single track that splits out from the main line after entering Florida?
Crystal Springs over 12 a day Plant City to Lakeland 4 amtrak and 2 intermodals plus a couple of locals Lakeland to Dade City about a dozen and from Callahan to Folkson about 60 a day.
Alan, I'm guessing, I wasn't aware that the RR-crossings had caught up with the rest of the light signaling upgrades. Over the last six or more years, Automatic, Automotive, Traffic Control Signals through out the nation, have been undergoing lighting upgrades from Incandescent to LED lamps.
SHHHHHH! IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE DRIVING LIGHT! I SAW A TRAIN THERE WITH 7 ENGINES ON THE FRONT PULLING A TRAIN. IS THAT A NORMAL TRAIN? NO! THAT IS A POWER MOVE!
This is an Intermodal container train or double stack, not a power move. A power move is when the locomotives aren't pulling any freight cars, a power move is just a group of engines on or off.
very cool Alan. awesome catches. sweet.
I just love your videos they are fantastic
That was Awesome! Thanx for posting !
love the double catch

One of the gate lights came off!
Nice catch!

Thanks. I'm hoping to come down here next year. Also, which streets in Tampa would you recommend to see freight. Is there a lot of freight there?
Not a lot of freight in downtown. stick to plant city lakeland and dade city
Ok
Texas power 💪🏻
We live in Mansfield

In deep downtown San Antonio, Texas, they seem to have really put some effort into new led crossing signals.
Nice
Nice Video man, what happened to your channel I thought you had like 400,00 subscribers and I dont know why there are so many QZ's here in TX
no I have 65,000
+Millenniumforce oh ok
1:36 RIP GATE LIGHT
nice
That wasn't a power move
A power move is engines driving light
With 2 or more engines
I was told different by engineers
SHHHHHH! IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE DRIVING LIGHT! I SAW A TRAIN THERE WITH 7 ENGINES ON THE FRONT PULLING A TRAIN. IS THAT A NORMAL TRAIN? NO! THAT IS A POWER MOVE!
Here in Texas we normally have 4 locomotives. :)
+Millenniumforce hmmmm
I stand corrected lol
I have to go by what working engineers told me they are the most correct ones because they operate the train
Cool catch! This is an intermodal train, not a power move. Sorry if this offends you. BTW, a friend gave me a guitar yesterday.
A power move is a train that has 4 locomotives or more running at the same time.
Ah, okay. Put that in the desc. Everybody is saying,"that's not a power move."
First!
And nice catch
Thats only four locomotives, it was probably not a power move.
this isn't a power move because all the engines are running
That.s what a Union Pacific engineer told me that 4 or more running locomotives on any train is a power move
+Millenniumforce if your still in Texas you do some Trinity Railway Express action
+Millenniumforce You should come down to Eagle pass Texas sometime they have trains one every 20 minutes or so.
Alan where is the one from Omaha??
The videos are going in order the way I traveled. Omaha won't be up until next month mid August
+Millenniumforce good because I live in Texas
Great video! Upload more stupid orange please!
Only on Saturdays at noon
+Millenniumforce I don't live to far away from Florida railroad museum maby one day we can meet up and talk about trains there I'm a volunteer there

Yes it is
4 or more engines is a power move
+xxMineVSCraftxx Gaming & Railfanning OH! O_O
+Christian Hickman thats what i thought too
But alan got told different by the engineer
4 or more
+Christian Hickman thats what i thought too

+xxMineVSCraftxx Gaming & Railfanning Oh, I never knew that! Interesting.
