people are just unwilling to try something that is actually NEW. they try to sell you on the new cod with "ah bro look at the zombies tho, look at the maps" and that's it every time.. I can't tell you how many friends of mine just DON'T try the finals because they love their comfort game Fortnite

This season feels like embark is fine tuning the game we all love in the right direction. I’ve never had so much fun on top of getting to play on 120hz on ps5 now. Shak 50 fills that void for heavy weapons, I love it

My main problem are still the spawns. The advantages people are getting with the spawns are insane especially when you should be at an advantage after wiping a team on a cashbox. Now when you wipe a team they will just spawn on the cashout and take the plug right out of your hands.
The ShAK-50 is perfect for the Heavy and what it does as a class, in my opinion. It leans into Heavy's strengths while being so versatile. ShAK's range and its kill-times sit comfortably between the SA1216 and the Lewis, while also being different from the M60 in function and purpose. I didn't think anything could top the SA1216 and Deagles for me, but somehow the ShAK-50 pulled it off.

I think the deagles and m60 should have been included. As a deagles user I am intrigued, but when learning that it has less range than the deagles I got disappointed.
@blvdes as I understand the real ash/shak12 is subsonic. Combined with the high bullet weight it insures that the bullet will kill, but not over penetrate. Combine with the fact that the 2 bullet projectile may not use rifling as well and it is honestly alright.
Loving the ShAK so far, while not that good at long distance it is still enough for me to finish those pesky lights that we get far compared to the SA12. Also the chugachuga sound is sooooo good
Honestly the gun doesn’t need much it fits in pretty well just treat it like your log mag smg and you’ll do fine but if I were to change anything on it it would be so it had 2 extra bullets so mag of 22 instead of 20.
You didn’t mention the lock bolt in this video, but I find it really helps in keeping that perfect distance for this weapon to shine! Amazing video as always! ❤
One of my favourite things about this game so far is that each weapon has such distinct properties, it really is tough to compare them all - none of them are like for like. In certain situations the ShAK is possibly the best gun in for heavy, but in others it falls far behind. Same can be said for almost all the good weapons.

This is kinda random but speaking about balancing, was thinking the matter light shotgun would be a much more viable gun to not just the really good playes, but to every skill level if the pellet spread was vertical instead of horrizontal. It just doesn't have the consistency that the m11, lh1, 93r all have and it would just make the gun feel a lot better without breaking it. Also the slug heavy should load 2 shells at a time instead of 1 for quick reloades, its just way to slow to keep up pace and be relaible for a team compared to all the other heavy weapons.
This is a great video, and I really like the comparisons you've done here. However, do you think the Shak could benefit from even a slight mag buff? I'm thinking maybe 3-5 extra rounds could make the weapon shine a little brighter. Or would this be considered "overtuning?"
I feel like I'm the only one who thinks the m60 deserves more attention, it shreds as long as you are close to medium range and can track well. Feels easy to use. Thoughts?
Justjust deleted because of this season, the changes to light cloak are abhorrent. I 3 ticked someone with a flamethrower and he was still invisible …….. Not that light didn’t need a buff, but I don’t know what Embark was thinking,
Flamethrower already bad in first place, now they remove best counter of invisible Sh*t lose ttk for obviously with other Melee weapon (since u can say Flamethrower is Melee with that range)

is there any visual indicator for the "two bullets per shot"? because I never saw it when testing so it really felt like one per shot,k 20 per mag (I know the game says it is but like, can you actually "see" or "feel" it?)
The additional 4 bullets per mag has made it way better imo. I miss old XP too but honestly, post-nerf, my accuracy has gotten better since you HAVE to hit almost all of your shots now to kill heavies and such.
@ not sure if your a casual or not but yea the 4 bulletes help in lower lobbies but higher lobbies including even plat your gonna need a weapon to have a fast ttk not damage over time. With how the meta is now I don’t see a reason not to revert the change it would help change this close range meta

Pre nerf, XP was far more viable. I’d prefer that version of the weapon. But I’ve been fine in plat/diamond lobbies with the new XP, but I’ve had adopt a slightly different play style. When I said it made it “better,” I meant compared to the nerfed XP with 30ammo, not the old XP

first of all great video dude , very useful info about the new weapon but just a advice about the video don't show the data on half of the screen and the other half is gameplay because the viewer will get distracted by the gameplay instead try to visualize data one by one as you speak showing the footage of each weapon or showing just thier icons or the weapon showcase or show the data in vertical way on the side along side the gameplay and show the data one by one as you speak about it then make an overall comparison and highlight of the best results to make it clear i really had a hard time keeping up with both gameplay and the data itself at some point
Something is off with your microphone settings, cutting off sometimes at the end of sentences. Maybe cutting lower dB too aggressively? It's lowk detrimental to the viewing experience.
Unfortunately, the SHAK-50 won't be a viable pick in high RS lobbies. The ideal range is too variable when facing well-coordinated teams, the low mag size means you can only engage one enemy per reload (unless it's two lights), and the dps isn't very consistent because of the two bullets. The SA-12, Lewis, and M60 are all objectively superior to the SHAK-50. I would also argue the deagles are better, but I could see a case for the SHAK-50. That would make it heavy's 5th best gun. Yikes. I've personally hated using it even though I was very excited for it to come out. It'd be balanced on medium, but it's too weak on Heavy as-is.
The KS-23 is still a complete tragedy. I want it to be good but everything is wrong with it. The ADS, reload, projectile instead of hitscan, the reload(again) and terrible breakpoints where quick melee is useless.
Acutely, the balance sucks, this gun destroys all melee weapon game play, If one gun can beat the opponent in middle distance and also kill melee shortly in close range, that means the fxxking Embark doesn't care about balance. Wtf, if a melee weapon can't easily win the TTK check fight, how can those players get fun? pray the gun player misses? If Embark thinks, someone has a great aim so, he can, go in any way and don't care about his opponent playing which weapon, is that fair? Range weapons can easily help his teammates, do damage to drive away opponents, if he kills someone and has low HP, he still can stare at opponents who want to save his teammate, and at the same time, the poor melee play needs to wait for the HP full to make sure the next fight can do some damage. Melee weapons can't even clear mine without taking damage, and even if you are the best melee weapon player still cant beat the light he has stun gun. I've said a lot of times to Embark on discord, melee weapons are a lot of unfair disadvantages like, its attack could be quick melee attack block, too weak when you meet stun gun, cant clear mine, easily be focused fire and difficult to help teams and even cant solo play because you always need to wait the fxxking HP full and you opponent just use five second to save and the melee would be useless. All the melees player could do is pray your opponent miss or on reload, and that thing are all weapon can do and eve do more easily. I've also suggest some change to make melee more useful and wouldn't break this game or destroy melee or other weapon game play, like make the TAB show all player's specialization and weapon, give melee (or all) weapons kill someone regen 100 HP in WT or RK (it can also make light more powerful in high ELO game) If you can attach Embark, pls help me and all the players, tell those unfair thing in this game and my suggest make some weapons that have significant disadvantages more useful, thanks! I really really love this game, I think the game could be better, that has diversity play style, this game would not be restricted by "FPS" game!
@ i respect your opinion but i see it so bad , it’s fun but you have to be so close , as an AR you should be able to do dmg from long range not like SMG short range , Dmg is not satisfying , lewis and m60 do the job way better in my opinion and you have more magazine to make more amazing team wipes 🤷♂️
Nah that weapon only feels good against other Heavy because easy to land 2 bullet at that big Hitbox Lewis or M60 way better because u don't run out Ammo fast I would consider using Shak if they fasten the reload time

Yeah light invisible is annoying. But you can just take motion sensor(hard counter new to meds) rendering invis trash near cash out.

I think it needs to have 25 rounds. 20 rounds is not enough for an AR. The FCAR went from 20 - 25, I can see the SHAK going that route too.
