Lol, I used to "push-shoot" the ball as well when I was younger. Everybody told me to change it (even though I was pretty good with that shot...). Now I wish I had never changed.
Excelent upload as usual. I love that Nuggets team, many say it was not serious to run and gun like that but they actually won 20 games with that roster which i'm pretty sure they wouldn't had done playing a more conventional game.
Very seldom did you see him go to the rim, although he did on occasion; Talking about Walt Davis. Fella had a smooth jumpshot!!! Back then he and Charlie Scott had similar offensive games! Mike Adams was out of Hartford, Conn. He average "30" in high school and had a number of 50 point games in his last two years.... Cold blooded scorer with a will to kill mentality with no letup!!! Denver's run an gun game suited him just fine because that where he was at his best, hitting quick and often....
mike adams that year shot as many 3's as curry did in 2015 wow what a cool fact and mike adams is only 5 10 steph curry is over six foot .hes six three go mr adams
Joy B. Right out of Hartford, Conn! Set all kinds of school records for Hartford Public. I played little league baseball with his brother Joseph Adams. Both Mike and Rick MaHorn made Hartford proud coming out of Hartford High and Weaver Wayyyyy back then 😉....💯◼
When teams didn't play defense 25 years ago they call it "good basketball" when teams don't play defense now they call it bad basketball. This is fun to play this style but good God 148 to 140 lmao! Talk about a track meet.
Can we please stop acting like the 80s games were all so intense and the defense was sooo epic? In ALL of the 2000s, it’s taken until 2019 for teams to finally get back up to the 110 ppg average that we saw for the entirely of the 80s(109 PpG for all of the 80s combined)
Lol. D'Antoni gets credit for popularizing "7 seconds or less" in the US.. but clearly this Nuggets team, as well as a few others (RUN TMC Warriors). Were doing that in the late 80s/early 90s. Without emphasizing the 3pt line. Michael Adams always had one of thee most ugliest jumpers, I've ever seen.. but like my pops used to say.. "but yeah.. he be hittin' that ugly s### though."😂😂😂. Lol. He sure did.
this is a great performance. never saw someone jack up threes at a rate as high as adams in 1991. 8 three point shot attempts a game
yet this game none. weird comment
1:42 dee brown got shook
Damn the crowd would've went crazy these days
Man the game sounded so much better back then
3:08 Bird was pissed at Reggie for not cutting properly. "Reggie, c'mon, man!"
1:16 LOL "that's gonna be NBA history, Nuggets have 2 on the shot clock"
Lol I don't get it
@@nonamesinenomine Because Nuggets' coach Paul Westhead ran a super quick posession offense that took 8-10 seconds at most.
Little Mike Adams was 1 of My Favorite Player's back then.😎👍🏾

you were probably a master of the floater huh
pushing the ball up the floor! best way to play.
I'm proud to have the name Michael Adams myself 😀
1:40 Sick! the man was electric!
He was from Point Guard U, i.e. Boston College: John Bagley, Michael Adams, Dana Barros, Howard Eisley, Troy Bell, Scoonie Penn.
Reggie Jackson aka Mr.November lol. And Tyrese Rice as well.
Scoonie Penn went to O State.
Yep for sure was even Allstar when Magic was MVP, i like those micro guard with a typical shoot he scored nearly 10.000 point like that!!!
Excelent upload as usual. I love that Nuggets team, many say it was not serious to run and gun like that but they actually won 20 games with that roster which i'm pretty sure they wouldn't had done playing a more conventional game.
I'm proud to say Micheal Adams from my hometown.
this was a great game
Adams could definitely ball
He's listed at 5-10 but he's probably closer 5-8 or 5-9 tops
Walter Davis, by the way..... only 14 or 15 players scored more points than him in the eighties, total. He was such a great scorer.
Very seldom did you see him go to the rim, although he did on occasion; Talking about Walt Davis.

He was a beast to be as short as he is.
00:45 Love the "Oh Jeez" by Woolridge.

1:42 ankle breaker
The nigga dee brown got his draws shook off at 1:42

damn get down or lay down
mike adams that year shot as many 3's as curry did in 2015 wow what a cool fact and mike adams is only 5 10 steph curry is over six foot .hes six three go mr adams
i've always loved his jumpshot because it looks like a floater the way he one hands it and leans in forward. R kelly shoot like that too lmaooo
kinda reminds me of kemba how he finishes near the basket
148 - 140 final? This had to have been during the Paul Westhead years.
+ft55555 It was...
1:43 in today’s NBA there be so many wooooo’s and ahhhhhhh’s
Nba has come a long way Jesus Christ
Game was so physical back than 😂😂😂
The reason you dont see 116-113 at the end of 3 anymore is because the league was better back then.
wow he was pretty good...I just found out that he's my cousin
Mone B. Oh Lil Mike Adam's was that Guy.He was 1 of My Favs growing up In The 80's
Michael Adams was a great player.. I grew up watching him in the late 80's early 90's with the nuggets.. Cool he's you're cousin..

+chitownkidd33 Yeah both eras had bad defense, but today's game doesn't push the ball like 80's early 90's ball did.
The nuggets were the only ones who played this style and they sucked ass
here bc of shaq
what did shaq say?
Nobody cares.
push push push, the secret to scoring
mumubear123 p
HE BROKE THAT NIGGAHHH!!!!
fast

It'd slow not that long ago shot clocks reset back to 24 on offensive rebounds
He was NASTY.....
Andre Ingram's jump shot brought me here.
Nobody cares.

He had no left hand handles
Is it weird that my jump shot looks exactly like his?
