I assume because it sounds quieter and slower so it feels more like a comforting relaxing memory of someone helping you with your hair or getting ready for something rather than sounding like a normal day or a stressful situation where you have to get ready quickly. Also probably the general calming atmospher of the video

It would be so cool if you did something like this but the triggers are related. Like you pick up a q-tip and it goes out of frame for a second and becomes mascara that you start applying. Or like at 0:53 when the paint is heading towards the camera but then it is just your hand tapping on it.
this is honestly great because I can never pick one video to watch 😭
I wish if you do this but fast and aggressive with sum mic brush and more tapping and scratching sounds
