HISTORY:
USS Detroit (LCS-7) is the fourth Freedom-class littoral combat ship of the United States Navy. The ceremonial “laying of the keel” was in early November 2012 at the Marinette Marine shipyards in Marinette, Wisconsin. The ship was launched on 18 October 2014.
The US Navy accepted Detroit into service on 12 August 2016; the ship was commissioned on 22 October 2016. She is assigned to Littoral Combat Ship Squadron TWO. *
The littoral combat ship (LCS) is a set of two classes of relatively small surface vessels designed for operations near shore by the United States Navy. It was "envisioned to be a networked, agile, stealthy surface combatant capable of defeating anti-access and asymmetric threats in the littorals."*

My dad was on the last Detroit, AOE-4. Did an overnight cruise when we were in Norfolk. It was nothing like this. Wow.

"That is a mighty mighty gun" Really? It's a 57mm gun. That's 2.2 inches. US Destroyers have 5 inch guns (127mm). Most foreign navy Frigate/Corvettes have at least a 76mm gun (3 inch). This is a tiny tiny main gun for a warship.
They could have at least fitted a 3"/76mm but I think they should have fitted a 105mm and shared ammo costs with both the Army and the Navy.
I wonder if she'll come up for the Detroit Fleet week!

FAD1010 são vídeos que você pode fazer que os brasileiros e latinos gostaríamos de lojas de caça e pesca armas molinetes varas de pesca coisas para acampar produtos de naltica barcos motores e outras coisas interessantes para tornar o canal mais interessante traria mais variedades p o canal.
This ship is toothless. A sitting duck. No anti sub weapons. No anti ship or shore weapons. So how is it a combat ship ? If a Chinese or Russian corvette rolls up on this "LCS" she going to fire off a few defensive misseles and run. Other wise she's dead. What about a sub ? She can select it. But cannot engage in COMBAT with it. This is 2 years ago. Hope it has been given some actual combat capability to match it's name sake
