Just got my rig. I sent you guys a messenger message. My machine had the wrong tire size in the setup. Maxing out at 22km/h. Switched it to the right one now it’s 27km/h, that’s which a loader and rear blade on.
how did you go from switching to all 4Rs and Normand in this video to all Pronovost and L6060's complete fleet lineup in 2 years, what happened or changed the thinking?
We get a lot of wet heavy snow here in Fredericton NB. Probably the most popular setup here is the L6060 with front mounted blower by far. The inverted blower just leaves to much of a hump at the end of the driveway in very wet snow falls.
@@Stefano_Narducci I wish I could, but we have a high number of stamped concrete and paver stone driveways (hardly any crushed rock driveways) . I've learned from Nick Bohner that on the 92 & 100" (and that's what we run) blowers that the HEVEA cutting edge can leave a black streak and that's not acceptable with our clients. The Tivar takes a real beating on the concrete driveways, many of them are uneven and from time to time tear a chunk out of the Tivar edges, and because of that the scrape becomes poor after 4 or 5 events.
Great review, I was looking at a front mount snowblower on a l 4760. After seeing different videos on the inverted snowblower it seems like the way to go.. I do close to 50 driveways. I also use the loader lots in the summer. What's your thoughts on the front mount blower? Thanks
It just came available to us now. This Kubota you are looking at is a 2019 model. I have orderd all my L6060’s with Nordic packages on them for next year.
@@Stefano_Narducci I want to know how you pay for all that equipment just doing snow removal. I get it you're in Canada but some of those tractors are $200k tractors. In the US you can't afford those unless you get a Grant from the Government or have a way to work it all year to pay for it. You guys would have to have a contract with all your customers to service hundreds of homes per tractor and tiny driveways. I drove a delivery truck in Ohio and it was tough to hit 15-20 customers in a day, I had more driving but... Does your Government pay for snow removal in residential driveways? That would be cool.
@@paybax I was referring to the JD6110 for the 200k, and it was a guess. You guys aren't the only ones doing that type of work I see. Competition must be Fierce in the big cities. The 4066 and 6060 are around 70 k (with snow cab/tires and nothing else) here without the Normand blower. I know you guys are fast with the rear blowers, but you'd think the front mount should just as quick? I guess we don't have a dense population of people to do that in my area. I think it's great you can do that. I've been thinking of moving so my sons have a chance to have a better life.
We have ran numbers and looks quite appealing, so much that we are looking into a machine for next year. All of our snow equipment is used for snow and thats it. It makes so much in the winter it doesn't even make sense to use it in the summer and put hours on it. John deere terraincut machines
The L6060 Could of been a good machine.. but the amount of labour it takes to keep these on the road Ishorrible. It's cheaper to pay more for a JD and save on labor. If you decide to keep it the 6060... you need a long list of upgrades.. to simplify your life. Takes 2 days after delivery to get then ready.
Beware of your drinks flying out of the window if ya get a lil bumpy plowing 🤣🤣just had it happen to me today
there is no belt on our ac compressor! 6:23 what is that all about?
We never replaced it as we only use them in the winter and there is no need for AC in the winter.

Use a different cutting edge on the inverted blower, that will eliminate the hump.

I know the solution to his issue, however it will take some balls!
Where can I get that fuel cap holder? That’s a great idea.
Made in house.
when you said you apply a coating every years you mean like normal rust treatment or something more expensive ?
Krown rust spray.
What year did you start

Thats awesome Terry, do yourself the favour and buy yourself a Normand Hybrid i promise you will not regret it.
@@Stefano_Narducci thanks 👍
Can you put a front mounted snowblower on this?
YES
any contact info for those fender flares
What fenders are those on the fronts and on the rear?
Extended front and rear fender flares.
@@Stefano_Narducci Who makes them, and how do I get them?
How do you mount that tool box on the Kubota?
I will post a video soon.
Why don’t you order the Nordik package? You or your dealer not know about it?

Nordic version is a waste of $$ rear end falls apart after 90 hours.
All of those tractors are only used in the winter for snow removal?
Correct.

@@bradh74 It’s a $100k tractor here and Kubota offers great financing and basically approve anyone. They are great.
