Very nice! I recently put Reserves on my Mach 6 with 350 hubs. Didn't care about weight, dinged up too many alloy rims so I wanted a pair with more durability. The warranty convinced me, and I'm glad I did. Not a huge difference, but I notice it especially in the corners, which is my biggest weakness so that's good at least . Great video!
Man I didn’t know you could get a full suspension bike that light! I though anything sub 30 was hardtail territory. I really like that bike a lot, seems like it would be week suited to Richmond / Pocahontas riding.
Newish to C'ville - where's that boulder/bridge roll located? Also - if you're running a Rock Shox fork, the extra torsion stiffness gained from swapping to the Torque Caps on the hydra are well worth it IMO. Seems silly but it makes a difference in holding lines.
That’s at blue ridge school - hands down the best trail system in Cville - shoot me a message on IG or email - I’d be happy to show you around if you haven’t ridden there yet
Did you ride Top Shelf on the Ranger? How was it? I went to BRS trails last week and had to get towed up by a buddy w an e-bike. Man, 3 miles up was stupid but the ride down was awesome!
Thanks for the great information man ! I have a Ripley AF in Northern California I want to get Nox Farlow with I9 Hydra hubs , you think this wheel set will be good for my bike ??
I have Nox Farlows on my ripmo and they are great for a bigger bike but you may want something slightly less wide for the Ripley. Actually these Factions would be good. And for the hub, you cannot beat i9 hydras.
They really are … it’s a tough because it’s definitely one of the most impactful uogrades you can make to a bike other than suspension but hard to justify the price of a good hardtail for wheels - lol
Sick!!! So pumped for you Forrest! Awesome that you were able to save a pound of rolling weight.
It’s a huge difference maker when it’s rolling weight

Thanks! I agree - the durability is half the reason plus the high engagement hub is a difference maker in slow speed tech
your right audio channel is nonexistent
What does that mean?
@@FoCoFlowShow On my headphones I only hear the left speaker..maybe its my headphones?
same!
Great review, was looking at the WA1 Convergence for my next upgrade. What is the adapter u use for your air compressor? Thx
I think it’s literally called the Prestaflator

It would definitely be perfect for Poco or JRPS

I’ve done Foreshot and Ridgeline at BRS on the Ranger - performed great but I still prefer the Ripmo for the chunkier DHs

Carbon wheels are so expensive these days 😢

@@FoCoFlowShow lol yeah I’ve never run carbon wheels so I can’t say whether theyre worth it or not
@@esmtb8 I’ve had 2 sets - they’re definitely a “nice to have” item - not a necessity
@@FoCoFlowShow Yeah somehow my aluminum bontrager rims haven’t blown up yet 😂
