Nice. The manual method is working but automatic method is not working.
First I did the automatic method but it wasted my time because the commands did not run properly(flutter pub get, flutter pub run, flutter_launcher_icons:main).
Then I turned to the manual method and it worked properly.
For me the manual was good.

dev_dependencies is ignored when the app is built. That's the purpose of it. The dev uses those packages to help him. And it ends there.

Thanks for the tutorial. When using terminal using the package registers under as shown in the install guide. But the read me section registers the package under . I'm uneasy about registering packages under . Why the contradiction? What's the difference?
In any case, the builds the images, and reports unhandled exceptions.
