Litreally heard all of those myths, even followed some! But the worst was when a shopkeeper told me that goldfish breed like guppies and you will have hundreds of goldfish in the next two years....

Yes I know. When I had my 1st Aquarium setup done there was a normal goldfish which was there with for 3 years and 3 months approx. It died while laying eggs as she did not push her eggs. Also I was not aware as to how breeding happens for Goldfish. Sad but I have her videos with me and feso happy that I was able to get the goldfish stay so long.

I have heard that tank size myth that if you keep it in small tank it grow according to it and I think so that this is real because my koi fish and goldfish were very small when I bought them in first few months they grown very rapidly but after 1 year their size is not growing it is constant so I think this is true

Mine did the same.... Then i didnt feed them for 4-5 days and in this non feeding period i did several water changes. On the 7th day I fed them and they ate very well.
