For me honestly this is a 10/10 movie. After the movie finished everyone sat through the credits in full silence. Everyone on this project brought their a-game. Absolutely amazing.
This is one of those rare movies that makes you feel like you're stepping into an entirely formed and real world that you didn't know you needed to visit until you got there.

One of the most hauntingly beautiful and powerful films I've ever experienced. Tears rolled down my face uncontrollably during this film from the first scene to the last because of how . All around me in the theater of the sold out screening I could hear weeping and sniffling. It's an intimately tender, heartbreaking ghost story about loneliness, grief, trauma and the power of love. Andrew Scott and Claire Foy deserve all the nominations this year! My favorite film of 2023!!
Totally agree. I was in tears most of the way through but that ending was just too much. Watched it in our local rural Co Cork cinema and people were on their phones. I don't have anything to add to what you said about the film - it was heartbreaking on many levels. I originally had no liking for Paul Mescal, but since this movie .. he is a bit of a star.
Just finished the movie, sitting in complete silence for half an hour writing this comment. Probably for someone to see it and realise you’re not alone.
Just wow 😢. After watching this last night I’m beside myself with grief but also relief. After losing my brother to suicide 10 years ago I unleashed 10 years of suppressed tears and emotion in a cinema. Absolutely beautiful and stunning film that will change how you perceive the world 😢❤

This trailer is amazing. It conveys so much emotion. I cried at the end of it without knowing the reason, just been overwhelmed by the feelings. I can't wait to see it.
I don't think any film has ever made me feel the way I felt yesterday when I watched this. Everyone in the theater was frozen minutes after the credits started rolling. What a devastating, cathartic, beautiful, and life-changing experience. Can only recommend, but watch carefully, and make sure to be with a loved one.
I feel like this is the preemptive role to a massive explosion of Andrew Scott. I love the recognition he's receiving- he's an actually incredible performer and is dedicated to the craft of what he does. I think more than just Fleabag or Sherlock fans will know this man's work soon enough.
I didn't notice Andrew Scott much when I first saw Pride other than playing the Welshman that gets reconciled with his mother who lives in another Valleys mining village. It was a very touching moment and his mother must have gradually accepted he was gay in the meantime. He had left home as a teenager for London because he was gay and hounded out. In the film he was living with his partner and they both owned a gay bookshop used for printing leaflets and placards. The campaigners also held meetings there. I was taking more notice of Paddy Considine then who played the miner who first reached out to the gays and Lesbians in London.
I’ve just watched the film. Astonishing. Heartbreaking. What an amazing piece of work. I loved 45 Years, and Andrew Haigh knows how to lay his characters completely bare. This is a devastating film, full of grief and loneliness.
This movie is artistically, emotionally, phenomenal. I love how the movie takes it's time to dive deeper into what the main character is feeling and struggles within himself.
This is an opportunity for Paul Mescal to prove that he can work in a supporting role. According to reviews from people who have seen the film, the story revolves around the main character, Andrew Scott, so the gaze tends to be on him. However, they wrote that Mescal also had some memorable moments and that his performance was excellent. While giving Scott most of the showmanship, he apparently even manages to convey the inner complexity of the role that we would never know without Mescal's performance.
That's an IRISH accent that Andrew Scott has, my friend! And there's a perfectly good explanation given in the film as to why Adam spent much of his early life in Dublin. @@binkytube
I watched this movie without knowing anything about it and let me tell you it still stays with me. Such a beautiful and emotional movie. The actors did an amazing job bringing this story to life.
After seeing this film you will understand the difference between loneliness and just being one with yourself. The worst feeling in the world is to be alone but believing that the person you're with cares more than they do. The depths of emotion that this film will certainly stir should be welcomed and embraced.
One of the most beautiful films, most of us will lose a parent(s) in our life time, and many films have covered this, but for some reason this film resonated with me more than any before - I think we all secretly fantasise (or even dream about) going back in time to revisit our parents, our family homes, our childhood, and to have those everyday (and not so every day) conversations with them from an adult perspective. To see this so beautifully portrayed struck a chord 😢
It's insane that Paul Mescal is just 27 years old and he has worked with some of the biggest actors in the world right now. Like in The Lost Daughter where he worked with Olivia Colman or God's Creatures where he worked with Emily Watson or Foe with Saoirse Ronan and now All of Us Strangers with Claire Foy and Jamie Bell. Incredible career ahead of him that's for sure 👍
And is already under consideration for being the next James Bond too! He’s my #2 pick after Henry Golding. No disrespect to those who wanna see Henry Cavill, but I just can’t imagine anything more boring 😂
Just finished bawling my eyes out to this film. So, thanks for that! Honestly, what a precious movie. Those who are careful about watching this film due to its gay characters, trust me, it's more than that. The parents-son relationship is portrayed so beautifully that it actually shadowed the love story.
@@PS1995-u8r obviously you didn't watch the movie. and know very little about people in general. because love, lost, loneliness, grief etc are the universal themes
The first thirty seconds of the trailer made me cry. The intensity of the colors, the lighting in each shot, the camera work, it's all so emotive and aesthetically pleasing, and I'm not used to seeing queer leads being portrayed in this way. It also captured a sense of loneliness in a big city that I've only seen in Wong Kar Wai's work and other things inspired by him. Really excited to see the movie in its entirety!

Normal People, The Lost Daughter, God's Creatures, Aftersun, and now with his two new movies this year which are Foe and All of Us Strangers. Paul Mescal pick his roles very well to prove more of his versatility and acting range. That's pretty impressive, so proud for my man right there 👍
Sadly he was miscast as Stanley in the recent London theatre production of A Streetcar Named Desire. But the over-rated Rebecca Frecknall's direction did not help.
I almost cried when "Always on My Mind" started playing. This film promises to be a tearjerker. Goddamn 2023 has blessed us with so many gay films, from "My Policeman", "Red, White & Royal Blue" to this.

I was sobbing the whole time during watching this movie😭. I'm highly affected my this as i've been going through a tough time for some years. Loneliness , anxiety , depression and stress. Its hard to put these feelings in words.
a trailer that takes you in just enough without giving away the plot/storyline. The song used in this was perfect. Now just wait for it to come out and go on this journey.
I'm so grateful for all the people that put their heart into creating a movie like this. Stellar production and impeccable performance. Painfully relatable, ugly cry, check. Well done.
Just saw the movie. Very original storyline and great cast. It's not just a gay romance film. Everyone will be able to relate especially if you have lost a loved one and yearned for more time with them. I'm amazed how Andrew Scott's character looked so boyish when he was in the presence of his parents even though he was a grown man. One of the themes of loneliness is heartbreaking but relatable. This movie deserves a sequel since you wonder what the Andrew Scott character is going to do next.
Every single film and TV show from director/screenwriter Andrew Haigh has been brilliantly cast, and actors always do really fine work in them: Weekend, Looking, 45 Years, Lean On Pete, The North Water. All four actors in All of Us Strangers give terrific performances, and Andrew Scott is absolutely wonderful, so emotionally vulnerable that it breaks your heart.
Mine too, and I felt like it was the buzziest film there. If you were in line talking movies and the person you were talking to had seen this, this is what they wanted to talk about.
Andrew Haigh is really my daddy. He raised me up with his movies: 'Weekend','Looking', and this amazing upcoming movie 'All of Us Strangers'. THANK YOU daddy for your movies.
This is probably the best movie I've seen. It is amazing! I love everything, but most especially how it's written. Such a brilliant mind to create this movie. Brought me into a world of different emotions.
this movie is beyond brilliant, definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen. just watching he trailer brings tears to my eyes and a sense of comfort, i have never related so much to a character before, i kept on having to tell myself that the actor playing Adam was acting and not actually retelling his story, i was amazed at the emotions that he portrayed on his face, the scene in the restaurant with this parents absolutely broke me and i have never cried so much watching a movie before, i kept on telling myself that these were my parents and i honestly believed that they were, at least the parents of Adam, and the emotions i saw i believed were real. Im going through some self discovery as well and the process, the emotions and the diologe of the movie was so raw it was almost educational. Absolutely heart shattering, and i was lying in bed later on and i remembered feeling the same way after watchin Brokeback Mountain, that same sense of profound sadness and devastation, but almost like a comfort as well to think that the experience of my life is shared by other gay men and im not alone in my loneliness.
I've just been to see this film and was blown away. I never get emotional at films but it had me welling up. During the last minutes of the film i had constant goosebumps. I didn't want to leave the cinema straight away as i felt like i needed to process it. I went to the pub to have a few strong drinks after just to think about it all. If you've not seen it i think you'll love it.
Adam and Harry's love is the love letter that most of us on the periphery have been waiting for. Utterly destroyed by the movie but it is a story for the ages. Cried my heart out!!

@@williamgardiner2010 didn't he win an Oliver award for that though?
I watched Weekend when I was 18, and now going to watch this at the age of 30 brings a lot of emotions.
Weekend is one of the best movies of the past 20 years.
I almost cried when "Always on My Mind" started playing. This film promises to be a tearjerker. Goddamn 2023 has blessed us with so many gay films, from "My Policeman", "Red, White & Royal Blue" to this.
And with this one we get something genuinely good!
What version of the song is in the trailer? I SoundHound it and I got Pet Shop Boys 2018 remastered dance version. But it doesn’t sound at all the same.
@@Cooperfan54 First version played is Always On My Mind (Dub Mix) then it goes into the usual 7" Mix. An edit made for the trailer.
"I've always felt alone." That resonated with me on a universal level.
If you see the film, I think you will feel that way magnified about 100 times.
@treesny gonna wait it on Prime Video. I want to watch it by myself
This movie kept taking me to an inner conversation, you will find something you can relate to. Omg most heartbreaking and relieving yourself
I left the cinema devastated, I was about to fall down the stairs
This movie was absolutely beautiful in all ways... Such a depth in emotions and beautiful messages.. I cried so much, I felt their pain. Wow, I recommend watching it, but bring tissues!
The most beautiful and the saddest movie ever. I cried for 2 hours afterwards.
😢
Paul Mescal is the boyfriend of Andrew Scott and the husband of Saoirse Ronan in this cinematic year. Just wow.
Wait what’s he in with Saoirse?

It deserves every single film award.
Just finished watching this. I'm in awe, I'm in tears.
I’m not seeing enough people talk about the genius casting of Jamie Bell in this
Agree ! He was ( as all 4 principal actors) perfect. One can feel his love for his son and the sense of guilt he harbored ..
I cry just thinking about the apology scene.
I can already feel this movie breaking my heart. Can't wait to see it.
This movie always makes me cry all through it.
This film ripped my heart out.
I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Easily the best movie I've seen in a long long time
I was sobbing the whole time during watching this movie😭. I'm highly affected my this as i've been going through a tough time for some years. Loneliness , anxiety , depression and stress. Its hard to put these feelings in words.
I cried too. I hope things get better for you and you reach out to friends for help if you need it.
a trailer that takes you in just enough without giving away the plot/storyline.
Unless…. he died too 🤔
@@arispoli1269i was wondering the same
OMG get ready to ugly cry in the theater. Such a moving film. Andrew Scott is incredible.
Have I died and gone to heaven?? The casting director deserves all the awards!!!
They went to Orion's Belt!
I felt like my stomach had been ripped out watching this, ugly cried, such a powerful film
The Andrew Haigh.
The Andrew Scott.
and...the Paul Mescal.
Dear God, thank you for answering my prayers. 🙏🏼
Every one of the 4 main actors does a perfect job! Great casting!
God what is it about Paul mescal that just renders the surrounding atmosphere all daunting and consequential
That’s an interesting description, whatcha mean?
Absolutely stunning movie, my favourite of this years Telluride film festival.
Mine too, and I felt like it was the buzziest film there. If you were in line talking movies and the person you were talking to had seen this, this is what they wanted to talk about.
A masterpiece of a film. Thank you Andrew
Just the trailer itself almost made me cry, I'm definetely watching this
Andrew Haigh is really my daddy. He raised me up with his movies: 'Weekend','Looking', and this amazing upcoming movie 'All of Us Strangers'. THANK YOU daddy for your movies.
One of the most beautiful & electric on-screen chemistry between the leads since Call me by your Name.
This film broke my heart
I love Andrew Scott so much! Paul Mescal is also incredibly talented
I can’t stop crying 💔
One of the best movies I've ever seen, such an emotional experience.
This is probably the best movie I've seen. It is amazing! I love everything, but most especially how it's written. Such a brilliant mind to create this movie.
Brought me into a world of different emotions.
The film's been getting great reviews so far, so happy for Andrew Scott, he deserves all the attention and success! Can't wait to see it.
this movie is beyond brilliant, definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen. just watching he trailer brings tears to my eyes and a sense of comfort, i have never related so much to a character before, i kept on having to tell myself that the actor playing Adam was acting and not actually retelling his story, i was amazed at the emotions that he portrayed on his face, the scene in the restaurant with this parents absolutely broke me and i have never cried so much watching a movie before, i kept on telling myself that these were my parents and i honestly believed that they were, at least the parents of Adam, and the emotions i saw i believed were real.
No matter how strong we are on the outside, we know that we are weak on the inside and always need safety and affection from those close to us
I've just been to see this film and was blown away. I never get emotional at films but it had me welling up. During the last minutes of the film i had constant goosebumps. I didn't want to leave the cinema straight away as i felt like i needed to process it.
I went to the pub to have a few strong drinks after just to think about it all.
If you've not seen it i think you'll love it.
a cast brimming with talent, an interesting concept - this is defo going onto the watch list!
The acting in this movie??? phenomenal. the ending scene was so beautiful. good movie that is very intimate.
This movie hurts so bad 😢
Such an amazing beautiful emotional movie. The last scene… i was sitting there and crying 😢
Adam and Harry's love is the love letter that most of us on the periphery have been waiting for. Utterly destroyed by the movie but it is a story for the ages. Cried my heart out!!
This film is going to break us all - but in the best way, like a good cry - isn’t it? 😢 Paul Mescal, choosing his roles like a creative genius 👏🏻
oh you are going to need tissues for this film
