haha derp I see this comment too late. It's correct, it's the accompainment part you hear in the real ( not on piano ) song... and it consists on E flat D E flat B Flat and E flat D E flat and C.. and that part repeats through the entire song. Anyway i usually play this song with an arpeggio of the 4 chords ( example.. for A Flat major i use A flat E flat A flat B Flat and C)
That third and seventh note every measure in the introduction... just sounds off... but *thank you* for doing something other than the full chords- I like that it's different.

I would go further than to say "fit the purpose of learning" - those little dissonances are what give the song the right feeling. Read the lyrics and imagine the song without dissonances. As always. Great Cover!
