Just a reminder. When Herbert came out of Oregon, he wasn’t expected to be a good pro QB. Then he had start, by accident and the rest is history. Bo getting no respect coming out of Oregon. Oregon QBs always get talked bad about. I think Bo has a surprising season, just like Herbert did. Us being overlooked by the NFL might really pay off for us early, when teams will look past us.
You’re 100% right about Herbert’s history. I don’t think it necessarily translates to Bo, but there is precedent.

The National Media Downplayed Bo Nix's talent in college to prop up the other quarterbacks in the draft because the NFL and the sports media have an agenda... In my opinion, Bo Nix was the best QB in the draft, Nix will perform better than any other rookie quarterback this year...
Mase is spot on.... it's going to take some unsung guys like Reynolds, and a handful of younger players, to really step up and play above their pay grade if we're going to do anything at all this season. It's time for more of those George Paton draft picks, especially those middle two drafts, to finally start earning their keep. We need a couple surprise studs.
