- I have followed ALL your advices, and I think it's really helpful, so thank you again, for helping me 'get better' - not sure if I actually am getting better, because so much depends on the picture and puzzle quality, that it's difficult to know whether I'm actually improving 😅🤔
So this was my SECOND practice for the speed puzzling competition in September, and I have to say that I'll need a lot more practice, if I want good results! 😅

I always do a full flip.I don't comprehend how people do them right out of the box...but I don't speed puzzle...good luck to all of you looking forward to it....
I don't understand doing it from the box either. I tried and I immediately get stuck 😅 Speed puzzling is the same, it's basically just done in one sitting and without breaks. Thank you 🤗

Here is one more idea: All the pros have coaches, right, to see weaknesses and "bad habits." You have to be your own coach. You already record your puzzling so you can just watch and study yourself. Without judgment or criticism of course. Just watch and see what you do, likely unawares, that might end up slowing your time. For example mine is getting too caught up in organizing pieces and so i have had to learn puzzling in more chaos. I see others move the box all the time or scratch their heads or adjust their hair 🤔 It seems minor but all these things add up. You are doing great! Enjoy your training!
That's a great advice, thank you! I know that I get stuck on one piece sometimes and just don't move on, even after I can't find it for some time. I should probably stop doing that 😅 I am also now learning to puzzle in chaos, that's why I've been practicing full flip method 😁
That tiger puzzle was a real beast!! I can't believe you are turning to the dark side with the full flip method - perhaps for some image styles...hmmm... Can't wait for the next battle! Going to be so much fun! 💜🧩
Oh it really was! 😅 I am right? I'm not proud of myself, but I'm just trying new methods 🤣 I think it works for busy images where sorting is difficult because one piece has so many different colours 🤷🏻♀️

Haha, I can imagine that puzzling is quite a rare activity at the gym! 😂 Would be great for getting to know new people, so I think I could try puzzling at a library. 😁 I already ordered my Flora Heart and I'm really looking forward to BOTYP II! 🤩❤️

Ok so you've been speed puzzling while talking to ppl at the gym, your sister, etc. That is MORE distraction than you will get in Spain!!!! So good for you for practicing like that. You will be great!!!

I really love how you all do these challenges together. It's amazing the friendships that can be made :) Good luck at the world competition! I would never have the attention span to spend that long on a puzzle, even a 500pc I tend to work only 30 min on it before I'm up doing something else.
I have to say that I never expected I'll make so many new friends through puzzling, and I'm really glad I found them! Thank you! 🤗 Doing a puzzle in one sitting is a bit more difficult, but you get used to it with time 😉

Sicer si nisem štopala, ampak sem za Frido porabla več časa, kot pa si rada priznam 🙈 nad krofi sem pa itak obupala, ker mi je blo vse isto, pa še slika je bolj slaba 🤷♀️
Ojoj pa ne da so krofi še težji 😲 Jst sm pa lih rekla da mislm da bom z njima rekord podrla ker sta tok barvni 😅😂

Tu te marches toute seule sur les pieds à aligner des pièces dans le cadre. Laisse les en dehors tu iras plus vite. et trie au lieu d'étaler !

You did a fantastic job trying all of the various methods 👏🎉. Would it be possible for you to puzzle while at a party, at a park, or in the parking lot near an outdoor market? It's important for you to get use to and have a very noisy and busy background. Maybe play a past competition while puzzling when at home turning up the volume. You can make a do not disturb - practicing for puzzle competition sign when out in public. Anyways, great job... Thank you for sharing. I'm looking forward to the 2nd BOTYP. I like that all of you are doing this. It shows comradery and creates fun for everyone. I say it's time to create BOTYP T-shirts🧩👕 😊👍
I didn't think about the noise 🤔 That's a good idea! I can definitely puzzle in a park, near a playground or something - just have to wait for better weather 😁👌🏻 And I like the noise in the background idea too! I normally puzzle with music on, but not sure what I'll do at the competition, so probably best to get used to both 😊 I have shared your comment with the group, and everyone liked the idea about BOTYP T-shirts! 🤩
