Based on the speculation of the size of the ships, they just may. The Sydney Harbor Bridge has a height limitation that only the Magic and Wonder can go under. So, smaller ships would be advantages to DCL for this. The Lion's Gate in Vancouver is the same and a newer ship doing the Alaska cruises would be another plus for DCL.
As a Californian, I really hope they add a ship to the West Coast dock. Especially since they started reducing sail dates from San Diego. It seems counterproductive to build four more ships and just continue to underserve half of the US market. Hopefully they’ll also start docking at San Francisco and Seattle.
NewYork used to be Disney Magics goto fall homeport since the early 2010s. Then the Dream last summer, I don't know why they stopped it this summer. PSA: THE FANTASY IS GOING BACK TO NYC THOUGH ACCORDING TO RUMORS DURING ITS NEXT EUROPEAN SEASON.
Love it! In hindsight I think those were tests like they did with San Diego, Hawaii, Australia, etc.. I would be surprised if they didn’t go back at least part of the year.
I would love another one based out of Australia designed to service Australia/NZ, Hawaii and surrounding areas- maybe a ship that themes itself to the Disney movies that call the area home (Moana, Lilo and Stitch and Finding Nemo are the three that come to mind plus they’re all super popular here)!
Very excited for the new Disney cruise ships 🛳️ it would be nice if the new Disney cruise ships could set sail in the Maldives 🇲🇻 or the Seychelles 🇸🇨 😊
It would actually be good if we could get one of the newer ships based in Australia
That would be awesome!

Great ideas! Would love any of these.
Wow!! Five left after done of two is adventure and destiny
It’s getting hard to keep track!

More cruises out of NYC would be great!!
That’s one we would like to do as well!

@@disneeds I agree. Hopefully these ships go back to the original Disney Cruise Line roots with the classic ocean liner aesthetic like the original 4.

Great ideas! I could definitely see them doing that.
I think Disney Cruise Line can put more ships in Europe or Asia.
I agree and I think they will.
Still no solo cabins for solo travelers?☹️

Those would both be great areas!
Booking Destiny tomorrow ❤
Good call! 💖
The future of theme parks while sailing.
Theme parks at sea could be a game changer!
The ships have become the destination rather than ports of call. Actually genius thinking…keep the money on the ships and their two islands.
Good point!
We have cruised and only left the ship at Castaway.
I hope they are nothing like the Triton Class ships. They are a train wreck and ruined Disney cruising for me.
What are the Triton ships
@@davidrigoni8231 It's what she was referring to as the "Wish Class". It's really the Triton Class.
Fun fact! Triton was the code name while they were in development, but they are the Wish class.
@@disneeds I disagree.
