On October 7th, Hamas infiltrated Israel and massacred over 1,200 Israelis - Jews, Arans, and foreigners. They took hundreds hostage, and many of them are still there. Seven months later, I went to the south to see the aftermath.
I'm beyond heartbroken.

He is a liar, it was the IDF who killed almost everyone, they had 28 IDF helicopters firing thousands of rounds on the fleeing dancers, hell fire missiles and tanks were fired on the houses in the armed bases, and in one house alone in Be'eri 12 Israeli's were murdered by the IDF, this was reported in Ma'ariv in October

Yes, these are peoples homes that they built literally with their own two hands. It is a very hard reality that whole communities cannot go back because it is too dangerous and everything is burnt down and honestly honestly it’s too traumatic to go back and live there.

This was the most appropriate vlog post for Yom he-Zicoron, the Israeli Memorial Day. It is the day that we remember our dead from wars and terror attacks and it comes the day before our Independence Day. It helps us to never forget the high price that has been paid for our country and freedom. This year is especially difficult because we are still in the middle of a war where our soldiers and civilians are dying on the battlefield in Gaza and in terror attacks that still continue. Oriel, what a perfect way to put us in touch with this sad side of life in Israel. You honored the memories of so many innocent victims and heroic people with this video. Thank you, dear one. Israel has yet to truly mourn our dead because we are still fighting for survival and praying for our hostages. But we have to pause for a day to take stock of the horror that has happened here and to recommit ourselves to staying strong for the good future and better days of all. Blessings.
Yes, you are right! We are definitely still braving definitely in the midst of still fighting. I just finished watching the memorial Day ceremonies and they were so sad and so beautiful. I really truly hope that you search true media and not what your media is showing you because I can tell you for sure as a person who has lived both in Israel and in the states that people know zero what is going on. Friends of ours are messianic Jews. Aviva had her Bat Mitzvah last weekend. It was beautiful, but when I was first there , I was very emotional. It hit me that all these beautiful families were just like those that were slaughtered on October 7. It became another step closer for me to the reality of that day.

They have absolutely 0 % knowledge about how the history began over in israel.

Oriel, as a non-jewish American I both stand with Israelis and the Palestinian People. At the heart i ask myself, "as a humanity- how are we still a warring people? Are we not evolved? Did we not move past human sacrifice?" And i know that there is so much to work through together.
My hope is that both the Jewish People and all Israelis, as well as the Palestinian People will heal and not harbor disdain for one another throughout the generations to come.

Hey there! It’s good to talk with someone from Australia. It was a very hard day to witness all of the places where cities happened, but I felt it was necessary for the world to see. I know it is hard to believe all the numbers and all the people but really, if Hamas could, they would’ve murdered everyone since they open they say that they want death to all Jews. Israel’s war with Hamas and not the people of Gaza. Where than anything we wish to keep the civilian safe but must makes it impossible. There are many heroic stories of that day and what I showed in the video is only a handful. Official number is 364.
