Man i get ur point on release u know but...I'm from Costa Rica and we have no fishing regulations,if a local, especially a kid ask u for the fish u are gonna let go,believe me dude they just want to put food on the table. That was the cherry on the cake u know.... Anyways,cool videos man cheer up and keep on fishing!

Yes, that was in Santa Teresa. We honestly can't remember where that beach was, too long ago and too few brain cells. Don't mind the swimmers and surfers, the fish don't.

How's the Bantam do with saltwater? Ive only used mine for freshwater but I want to try it for spotties in the bay. Its my only high end reel and I don't wanna mess it up.

We use many of the same reels as we use in freshwater, just making sure to maintain them after fishing saltwater.

Grab a fish by the gill and it will die. So if you’re gonna release it, don’t do that.
the grab was of the operculum which is the gill cover, not the gill rakers. No harm was done to the fish.
