Hello mem I have Small doubt in one pipe line will install one control valve why upstream and downstream pipe line was reduced

As usual excellent video. Why to roll the pipe? Is there any effect of pipe rolling on process ( fluid characteristics)? Thanks for your valuable time.

Sorry Abid i dont understand your Question. could you please mark timing where I talked about it. however rolling is the one of the process by which pipe is manufactured.... if you are asking for this, please reply we will discuss... thank you.

@@PipingMantra Thanks for your prompt reply. Sorry for the inconvenience. I didn't mean "rolling" while manufacturing of pipes. Also, this question is not related to any of your video. Rather I should have asked, in isometric drawings; piping rolling is given (if required). Why to roll the pipe? Is there any code for rolling the pipe? Is there any effect on process due to this rolling?
Thanking you for sparing your valuable time.

@@cck0728 ohkay... rolling is just that you are using elbows (90 or 45 in piping ) have the same effect (pressure drop, i think you remember K factor). Rolling normally used when we can't provide std elbows (90 or 45) in confined space. As per my knowledge there is no such std available for that but yes rolling have an effect on fabrication, need to machined (cut, end preparation, grind etc) elbow at shop or site according to angle mentioned in isometric #ideally .
