I remember watching this on TV with my Mother when I was a little girl. I believe it came on once a year. The stepmother and stepsisters so talented and stole the show.
I watched this version on TV also. When TV programs were good. I really love this musical version! The songs and the acting was great! The stepmother was a riot! I feel that this production is a real gem. Thank you!!!
I saw this by chance about 12 years ago and it just disappeared. I saw it the first time on tv in 1966. Now I subscribed to youtube just to download it! Great musical. Brings back memories...they aired it every year around this time of year.
I watched this every year when I was a little girl. My favorite scene was Cinderella descending the stairs and the Prince couldn't take his eyes off her. Their waltz is the most beautiful I have ever seen. This is the most stunningly beautiful version of all. Lesley Ann Warren and Stuart Damon🏰 Rest in peace sweet Prince, Stuart Damon👑😔

The story has been written long time ago. Have heard it many times, but still filling my heart with positivity. While we face difficulty in life, have to wait for the good days ahead 🙂. Today may be a rough day, but tomorrow is ours🎉
I like how LAW played Cinderella. I also like her lovely long neck. The Julie Andrews version is also good. Both actresses can sing and act. 🤩

This was only the second time Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella was produced and the only time in full color.
Until they made the version with Brandy as Cinderella for TV. Brilliant version too. Not sure of the year.

This is SOOOOOO much better than that wretched '90s remake!! This is the definitive version, to be sure (well, ok the Julie Andrews version is excellent, but, it's not in color, dang it!)!
No need to badmouth the 90's version... Both of them can be enjoyed & the 90's version is culturally significant to a lot of people that grew up watching Brandy as Cinderella.
Actually there is a colorized version of Julie Andrews's Cinderella!

I actually love the 90s version too. And Julie Andrews was by far the best singer but it was made for TV in 1957 so not going to be in colour.
