Hunting for electric guitar used as a classical orchestra instrument. It’s mostly pop/metal/rock with an orchestral background a long way away. This is at the other extreme and then some, and love the battle between the most versatile instrument invented, and the sometimes surprising for me range of sound from a classical orchestra. It was a high scoring draw.

Alguien conocedor en la materia que me explique por favor, que tipo de música es esta? Osea cómo se le llama ? Porque pienso que hay un arte o un objetivo en tocar la guitarra 🎸 y acompañarse de una orquesta,.. gracias de antemano

Los que se hacen los eruditos te van a tratar de ignorante que no entiende el arte, pero ese es el verso que se comen los que se refugian en las explicaciones porque lo de dominar un instrumento no les sale. Estaría enmarcada en la "música contemporanea" que de contemporaneo no tiene nada, es un estilo academico caduco que se intenta validar como la música académica de nuestras épocas. Esta obra probablemente es un desperdicio más de dinero publico o algo por el estilo que solo sirve para llenar el ego del supuesto compositor y su círculo de chupa medias
Well, unfortunately only experimental noise. Without the enhancement of the upscale ambience, it would probably be perceived as acoustic pollution.
It's a bit...ahem...challenging for my tastes. Reminds me a little of David Gorton's compositions.

You told it how it is. I liked this piece a lot but ask me why and I would struggle. Something is missing from popular music today. Maybe the audience is the problem. There was a time when listening to weird stuff was popular. Can we get a bit more of the percussion and beat into it, a drum kit wouldn’t be right I think, just that the orchestral percussion feels underused and also the percussive elements of guitar underused.
Sounds very boring and noisy. They go nowhere with this piece of... 38 minutes long?!!

Formalmente no es en absoluto una obra conseguida. No está claro la necesidad de la guitarra eléctrica en la pieza.
It doesn't matter. They are in the government subsidy club, they can do whatever they want with absolutely no possibility of negative critiques in the community or in the press.
Very superficial analysis. Formally and aesthetically is a great piece. Expecially for the use of guitar. Probably you were expecting some cringy 3 chords pop song with ugly John Williams-like cheesiness and a metal guy shredding on top of some banality. As a composer I find this piece absolutely great. Reminds me of some Varese-Shönbergh-Zappa good stuff. Finally someone who does something worth listening, most of orchestral music with electric guitar is very stupid.
