Good update. Had been seeing your same tour earlier too. It was night otherwise you could have taken Dalkhola Dhantola short cut road. In your last tour I observed that road condition was much better. Probably rain has taken it's toll as well as multi axle lorries for which I do not think that road was constructed to bear that sort of load, though being strategically important road Govt. should have made that road for bearing a rolling load of at least 50 tons. Thanks for your sharing this tour, please keep it up and post whenever you are making any road trip as I have subscribed you long back to view your vlog.

For bikers, I would recommend the Burdwan, Siuri, Massenjore, Dumka, Bhagalpur, Purnea, Dalkhola Road. Thos e going by NH 34 may take a diversion after Raigunj through Bengal Road which will take you directly to Islampur.
I went to Siliguri by bike last November and I took that Raigunj - Islampur bypass... And it was the worst route ever... First of all that road goes through many villages and markets so nobody can ride more than 40-45 kmph... Secondly There was not a sign of asphalt for 7-10 kilometers, I had to saddle all over those dusty waves and ditches...I hope the state govt has renovated that bypass...

You are not the first one travelling such. I have been travelling for 500 since, 10 years on highways from Siliguri to Shillong and Pune to Hyderabad, Bangalore Surat Baramati Mumbai Ahmedabad and many station with more and more Luggages.
There is also another route to go to Siliguri. Here in Bardhaman you have turned right on NH2 through Ullaas more....... But From Durgapur, there is another shortcut route........ Between Durgapur Rajbandh More and Panagarh, there is a left turn on NH2 (from Durgapur to Kolkata route it falls left and Kolkata to Durgapur it falls right) which is called "Darjeeling More". Heading straight through Darjeeling More, You can reach Darjeeling, Siliguri, Malda, Chanchal, Dinajpur, Suri, Krishnanagar and Shantiniketan Bolpur........ Instead of turning to Ullhas More, you continue to head through NH2, after approx 1 hr, there is Rajbandh on right and it's called Darjeeling more. It's an alternative route to siliguri and better road condition than Moregram road. Try this alternative route someday And you might be living in Alipur/Behala/Taratala/Khidirpur in South Kolkata through which you are near to Vidyasagar Setu.......... Keep continuing the good videos bro. Take care during Covid-19........All the very best to you.
This is the condition of our state government I'm a driver and I faced from long time some time the road conditions good and maximum time is bad It's only in West Bengal In Odisha and Bihar the condition of national highways always maintained as good
Hi Akash, I am Rudra last year Novemeber, I too went for a solo ride with my TVS Jupiter 110 cc from Kolkata to Kalimpong and returned via Lataguri and Gazaldoba route, covering 1500 km in 5 days.
