It all depends on how much time you're willing to put into it but i will say, learn the mechanics first. Slide cancel timing on corners, dolphing diving out of bad situations or onto ledges, holding climb to abuse grounded mantle, challenging people on corners so they turn one way whilst you're the other side etc... aiming will come with overall game time and aim assist does a fair amount anyways so i wouldn't worry about that at all lol
