What’s becoming so obvious to people now is that colonialism has never ended just rebranded with different terms. From Natives indigenous people being called “savages” in the old days to now being called “terrorist” by neocolonialists who are neoliberals, neoconservatives, and zionist. 1) Savages is now “terrorist” 2) Civilizing them is now “bringing them democracy” 3) Colonies is now “territories” We can all see Israel is a colonial project being supported by former and current colonials such as U.S, UK, and others who also control territories of indigenous natives in Caribbean Islands, Pacific Islands, Hawaii, and many more. The liberation of Palestine will definitely give RISE to many indigenous natives around the world to free themselves from western domination. This is the underlying ripple effect that the U.S government and its puppet allies don’t want to happen

MaShaAllah, Dr Shadee is brilliant as usual. Thanks for bringing him on. The discussion on the concept of victory was pertinent because on the one side we have a Gaza that makes depressing news and on the other we have Syria where our brothers & sisters have at least a respite! Please share the first book of Nusra that Dr Shadee mentioned in the 29th /30th minute!
upright - joke of the year - 34:43 What is the difference between the guest (so called doctor) and is is( black flag group in Syria and Iraq) ? he is clearly giving example for people that if you un-alive pagans without doing anything you can directly go to heaven. Pagans from his and his region perspective are hindus, sikhs, jains, yazidis, zoroastrian etc, is is (black flag group in Syria and Iraq) and other Invaders did the same thing what he is preaching,
Another excellent podcast. Ma sha Allāh. JazakAllāhu khayr Jalal for bringing Dr Shadee in, perfect dovetailing to the recent podcast with Sami Hamdi. Well done. May Allāh increase all of us in knowledge & all that is good. Allāhumma āmīn.
Masha'Allah what an enlightening conversation between you guys. May Allah alleviate the suffering of Muslims all around the world especially Gazza and Sudan and Uyghurs... I hope more people listen to this and truly benefit including me! JazakAllah Khair both you guys and your team! Aameen
"Allah never fails in His promise ",when Allah promises victory, that victory is certain,we've witnessed Syria's, Alhamdulillah,May Allah keep Us alive to witness that of Palestine in Sha Allah,. Jazakallahu khair brother Jalal, for bringing us another great guest❤
@silverltc2729 cause they're astray already, all tyrants are doomed for hell,so why not allow them go all out,so when their punishment comes, they'll have no one to blame but themselves
@AshAli-mi1cz that isn't what the Quran says in Surah 17:104. Nobody is doomed until the day of judgement. We all have the chance of forgiveness and redemption. Otherwise Al-Rahman is not Al-Rahman.
In the words of slave turned abolitionist statesman Frederick Douglass. “I prayed for freedom for 20 years but received no answer until I prayed with my legs,”

@@costructivecritic Your Hasbara is NOT working anymore. Muslims ruled India for close to 1,000 years and never forced any of Hindus to embrace Islam. Same goes for the Middle East where Muslims protected Jews and Christians for over a thousand years.
@@costructivecritic Are you even aware that Isis is an israeli and western creation? Are you even aware that they apologize to Israel in 2015? Any group that only attacks civilian Muslims and Non-Muslims in Muslim countries while not going after against western establishment elites is in fact, western creation entity groups.
A word about the Afghan Wars. In Pakistan some secular/liberal voices said the Afghans had defeated USSR because of US support, not because of Allah. After they had defeated the US, the response back to those mocking voices was Allah showed everyone where the help came from.
A very valuable conversation. The ummah must always work towards goals and project positivity. To give up and dwell in pessimism is to deny the ease in which Allah can change our fortunes but crucially, as Sheikh Shadee said, the timeline is not ours.
Wow!! This whole incredibly valuable discussion, initiated by the right questions being asked, has resulted in a really valuable khutbah for me. Jazak Allah Khair.❤

Dr. Shadee - a very insightful guest as always. You guys touched on some important subjects, especially the interplay between eschatological views and geopolitical reality of today and how we as Muslims should feel about apparent successes. I think you could do an entire podcast on this subject and I’d definitely watch. Maybe invite over Shaykh Asrar for that.
Thank you brother for another great episode! Been following sheikh Shadee for quite some time now elhamdulilah. Just a note: perhaps it is too harsh to postulate that peaceful resistance is equivalent to loosing faith. There are people like sheikh Ahmadu Bamba who were great sages and the result of their work still bears fruit. There is a lot to be achieved by non-military means that we should capitalize upon. Just a thought. Allah knows best.
My heart bleeds for the ummah who are actually being punished all over due to not fixing themselves, it's actually going to get worse sadly for the ummah, they're split against each other with so much chaos, saddenbto say all will be played as time goes by, those who claim Allah is gifting the ummah don't see or understand his signs all over the Middle East and beyond. His gift will truly come with victory once we look at ourselves and truly fix up
The problem is not that we don't believe we are going to win, but rather, we fear that when the victory comes, we may not live and get to experience that victory.
DISCUSSION SUMMARY Introduction 00:00 The Syrian people have experienced a remarkable victory with the fall of a brutal dictator, despite the odds being against them 00:25 This victory has Islamic significance and raises questions about the concepts of victory and seeking help from Allah 00:34 The relationship between Allah's help, victory, and human actions will be explored 00:51 Allah’s victory? 02:09 The fall of Bashar in Syria can be seen as an example of Allah's victory, bringing relief to the Syrian people 02:09 The event has brought happiness and a sense of release to many Muslims, who had been feeling down due to the ongoing genocide 02:29 The unanimous celebration among Syrian scholars and the Muslim community suggests that this is a gift from Allah 03:53 Realists in Ummah 04:11 Some Muslims questioned and raised concerns about the Syrian victory, which can be seen as a realistic approach, but it's also important to consider the Islamic perspective of mirroring a pious Muslim's state in times of celebration 04:30 The Syrian people know their country best and should be allowed to lead on their own, as they were the ones who suffered and revolted in the first place 06:10 The axis of resistance is not the primary concern, but rather the well-being of the Syrian people, who have suffered greatly under Bashar's rule 06:56 Victory and the Help of Allah 07:30 The concept of "n" (victory) and "f" (help) in Islam, where "n" implies a victory with fighting, and "f" implies a victory without fighting, and divine aid is a guarantee of victory 07:51 Allah gives victory to the truth, not to a specific religious group or identity, and one must follow the truth to achieve victory 10:08 The principle of obedience is crucial in achieving victory, as seen in the Battle of Uhud, where the Muslims suffered losses despite having the power and the presence of the Prophet 10:30 Muslims' Practice of Islam and Their Status 11:20 When Muslims practice Islam, they achieve victory and prosperity, but when they leave Islam and adopt nationalism and secularism, they become divided and weak 11:29 The Islamic world is currently more divided and weaker than it was 200 years ago, with non-believers having more control and influence 11:43 The comparison between Muslims and non-believers shows that when Muslims leave their religion, they become weaker, while non-believers become stronger when they leave their false religions 12:29 Leaders in Ummah 13:54 To be deserving of victory, the Muslim Ummah needs to be upright and pious, as this principle applies at a national and military level, not individual level 13:55. Victory can come to non-believers or individuals in sins, but this is not a Divine Victory, which is characterized by improvement in beliefs, morals, and status, and increases happiness and Tawakkul 15:38. When Allah gives victory, it is often sudden and quick, as seen in the example of the Sahaba, whereas human efforts without Allah's help lead to slow progress and eventual defeat 16:30. Competing obligations 17:40 A Muslim's practice of Islam, political, and military capabilities are interconnected and should be weighed against each other 17:40 Part of a Muslim's religious obligation is to prepare and strengthen themselves, which is equal to other religious obligations in the Quran 18:23 Providing for one's family is also a religious obligation, and a person's ability to do so should be considered when evaluating their overall religiosity 19:10 Allah's Promise of Victory 22:29 Allah has given Muslims a ratio of power to consider when deciding whether to engage in a fight, which is 1 to 10, but has been reduced to 1 to 2 due to the weakness of Muslims 21:08 This ratio allows Muslims to make practical decisions about when to fight and when to make a deal with their enemies 20:53 Historical examples, such as Salahuddin's conquest of Syria and Egypt, demonstrate the importance of building up Muslim power before seeking to reclaim Jerusalem 22:29 Withholding Victory 24:54 Allah sometimes withholds victory from Muslims, not because they are less believing, but due to a wisdom that may not be immediately apparent 24:59 The inability of Muslim armies to penetrate the walls of Constantinople is an example of this, and did not lead to doubts about the truthfulness of Islam 25:23 Losses in battle can actually serve to strengthen a person's faith and lead them to re-evaluate their priorities 26:51 Allah’s intervention 28:28 Extraordinary events, unexplained by science or mathematics, can occur during battles, suggesting Allah's intervention to help believers 28:42. Stories of Allah's intervention can be found in books, such as "The Kat of the Afghan War" and "The Return of the Pharaoh", which provide accounts of miraculous events 29:23. Believers should read about these events to gain energy and strengthen their faith that Allah is with them, but should not plan for miracles to happen 31:38. Conditions for Allah's intervention 31:59 A personal level of commitment to the faith and to Allah is necessary to expect or hope for intervention 31:59. Being truthful and on the truth is what matters, not being perfect or sinless 32:11. Making Toba (repentance) is essential, and having a good record of not committing sins regularly is important to receive divine blessings 33:18. Acceptance by Allah 33:52 Allah does not require a perfect record or a PhD in theology to accept someone 33:52. There is room for mistakes on secondary and tertiary matters, and Allah can still accept someone who is not perfect in their knowledge or actions 34:06. Examples from the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet) show that even those who were new to Islam and did not know everything could still be accepted by Allah 34:20. Wait for victory? 35:45 The concept of waiting for victory from Allah is often misunderstood, and Muslims should not wait passively for it, but rather strive and struggle to achieve it 35:52. The idea of the awaited Mahdi is also often misinterpreted, and it does not mean waiting for permission to establish Islam or for the completion of the Sharia 37:17. The correct understanding of the Mahdi is that he will come to people who are striving and struggling to establish Islam, not to those who are waiting passively 37:35. Gaza’s victory 39:39 The liberation of Gaza is considered a difficult task due to the strong backing of Israel by the United States, but the people of Gaza have chosen to resist and fight for their freedom 40:45. The concept of victory is not just about winning or losing, but also about agitating the enemy and making them behave irrationally, as mentioned in the Quran 42:02. The people of Gaza have chosen to resist and fight, despite the slim chances of victory, and have struck a severe blow to Israel, gaining international support and sympathy 41:36. Hypocrisy 45:36 Hypocrisy is a dangerous label to pin on others, and it's better to focus on recognizing the signs of hypocrisy in oneself 45:42 One sign of hypocrisy is saying something without acting on it, as stated in the Quran: "Oh you who believe, why do you say what you don't do?" 46:25 Weakness of faith (Iman) can be a result of a lack of awareness or remembrance of Allah's power, which can lead to a limited mindset 46:50 Victory and Success 47:05 Allah's power and victory are not limited to prophethood, and small groups can defeat large groups, as stated in the Quran 47:13 People often put mental shackles on themselves, limiting their potential and making it difficult to accept success or victory 47:38 Some people may be uncomfortable with success and subconsciously sabotage their own progress due to a comfort zone of unhappiness 48:11 Eschatology and Success 48:51 There is no eschatological evidence that precludes great successes in the Muslim ummah, and there may be preludes to future successes 48:57 A misunderstanding of eschatology can lead to depression, but recognizing the potential for success can be uplifting 49:44 Believer’s mindset 49:54 A believer's mindset should balance between understanding eschatology and taking action, as inaction is a false interpretation of the signs of the end of time 50:27. The balance is to understand that the Shar will not give two opposite things, and when Allah tells us about the signs of the end of time, these signs must match action 50:34. A believer should not wait for good things to come but take action, as good things will come to people who take action 51:34. Balance between action and reliance on Allah 54:11 It is permitted to ask Allah to bring good things quickly, but the line is drawn when Allah brings it forward, which is not on our time 55:02. Asking for something to come quickly should not constrain our actions or be a crutch to take inaction 55:47. It is not permissible to set a timeline for Allah unless the timeline is set by someone else, such as an enemy or a deadline 56:07. Importance of Dua 56:36 Dua should not be restricted to what seems politically plausible, but rather ask for the impossible 56:45 Allah's power is not limited by human imagination, and He can bring about victory from unexpected sources 57:31 Lack of imagination and submission to Allah's power can be a weakness in making Dua 58:26
Value of Tahhajud 01:00:18 Tahajud is an important asset for a believer, especially in dark times, and is integral to worship 01:00:19 The Prophet emphasized the value of Dua after obligatory prayers, and every Muslim should take advantage of this opportunity 01:00:31 Salah is a gift from Allah, and making Dua after Salah is a way to claim this gift and have one's needs and wants answered 01:01:18 Battle of Prophet 01:02:39 Studying the battles of the Prophet Sall Al wasallam provides a deeper understanding of Islamic concepts and their applicability in the world 01:02:44. The concept of fighting for what one believes is essential, as stated in the 40 hadiths compiled by Imam Nawawi, which lists struggling for one's beliefs as a fundamental aspect of the religion 01:03:21. The decline of empires is often attributed to their loss of battles, and the importance of defense and striking fear into other nations is emphasized in Islamic texts 01:05:56. The Importance of Defense 01:06:04 Defense is a crucial aspect of maintaining a nation, and the concept of sending battalions to remind opposing nations of one's military strength is rooted in Islamic history 01:06:11. Military parades serve as a display of confidence and a warning to other nations, and the idea of having a strong military is essential for protecting one's lands 01:06:36. The Impact of Modernism and Secularism 01:07:59 The concept of jihad has been clouded by groups like ISIS, leading to a decline in discussion and participation in jihad, and some individuals have adopted a more modernist and secular approach to Islam 01:08:07. Studying the battles of the Prophet is essential for understanding the principles of warfare and the importance of obedience, meekness, and humility in front of Allah 01:08:54. Giving up 01:10:47 The struggle in Syria and the Muslim world can lead to feelings of exhaustion and giving up, but this is not an acceptable option in Islam 01:10:50. Giving up due to exhaustion and loss of faith is different from giving up when the situation does not allow for further action 01:11:43. As long as there is the ability to take action, giving up is not justified, and Muslims should strive to maintain a balance in their lives through following the Sharia 01:12:28. Having a long-term perspective, such as a 100-year plan, can help Muslims stay motivated and focused on their goals, even if they may not see the results in their lifetime 01:13:31. This mindset can be passed down to future generations, creating a sense of continuity and perseverance 01:13:42. Having a multi-generational perspective can ultimately lead to success, as it allows for preparation and opportunism when the time is right 01:16:23.
for all those who ve been struggling with self sabotage: well, Dr Shadee tells yall are losers, nothing to do, you people belongs to the losers. What a great Islamic guidance, how inspiring it is! Jazayk Allah khayran dr Shaeedee
We should celebrate the liberation of Syria and keep praying and try to be optimistic for the liberation of Palestine. I like Dr Shadee al-Masri advice that we should strive and keep doing our parts as Muslim ummah
You still haven't understood what happened! The Palestinian resistance is broken. There will be no free Palestine thanks to the traitor Erdogan and others like him, esp. the Qatari rulers who paid this demented mercenary army. They've DESTROYED THE PALESTINIAN RESISTANCE. One can keep praying till one sees blue in the face. No prayers will help now. Free Palestine is FINISHED!
Geopolically is not freadom they are just breaking in pieces syria and taking off one of the greatest supporters of palestinian land liberation MEANS PALESTINIAN ARE EVEN WEAKER AND MANU SIRYAN SPECIALLY THE MOST POOR ARE BEING MADSACRED
34:43 What is the difference between the guest (so called doctor) and is is( black flag group in Syria and Iraq) ? he is clearly giving example for people that if you un-alive pagans without doing anything you can directly go to heaven. Damascus was liberated in 636 AD by Khalid ibn al-Walid, and two years later, in 638 AD, Al-Quds (Jerusalem) was liberated by Umar ibn al-Khattab. Similarly, Salah al-Din (Saladin) liberated Jerusalem in 1187, three years after the liberation of Damascus in 1184. Damascus liberated again in 2024…
@ Educate yourself. Arabs, including the Ghassanids and the Lakhmids, lived in Syria, Palestine, and Iraq for thousands of years, long before the Roman and Persian (Iranian) occupations. These lands have been home to Arabs and other Semitic peoples for millennia. Both the Byzantine and Persian empires were merely later occupiers. Learn history before making such ignorant claims.
Common Patterns: Strategic Proximity: Securing Damascus often precedes efforts in Palestine due to its geographical and strategic importance. Cultural and Religious Unity: Both regions have shared historical, religious, and cultural connections, making their liberation movements often interdependent. Intertwined Struggles: Throughout history, foreign invasions or occupations in one region have frequently led to struggles impacting the other.
1. Under Muslim Rule Early Islamic Rule (Umayyad, Abbasid Caliphates): Religious Tolerance: Non-Muslims (Christians and Jews) were granted dhimmi status, which provided them protection in exchange for paying the jizya tax. Freedom to practice religion, maintain places of worship, and engage in trade was often ensured. Many historians note that religious minorities had better protections compared to some non-Muslim regimes. Economic Prosperity: Damascus became the capital of the Umayyad Caliphate and flourished as a center of trade, culture, and scholarship. Economic policies were often inclusive, allowing all communities to participate in trade and crafts. Infrastructure such as roads, mosques, and marketplaces were developed extensively. Social Welfare: Charitable systems like waqf (endowments) supported education, healthcare, and public infrastructure. Zakat and Sadaqah (charitable taxes) played a significant role in uplifting the underprivileged. Justice System: The Sharia-based justice system offered speedy resolution of disputes, though it maintained distinctions between Muslims and non-Muslims. 2. Under Non-Muslim Rule Byzantine Period (Pre-Islamic Era): Religious Persecution: Non-Chalcedonian Christians (e.g., Copts, Syriacs) faced persecution under Byzantine orthodoxy, while Jews had restricted freedoms. Pagan practices were largely eradicated by force after the Christianization of the empire. Economic Inequalities: Heavy taxation burdened the rural and lower classes. Wealth was concentrated in the hands of elites, particularly the Church and the aristocracy. Limited Infrastructure: Though some urban centers like Damascus were well-maintained, rural areas often suffered from neglect. Crusader Period (1099-1291): Displacement of Locals: The Crusader conquest of Jerusalem in 1099 was marked by massacres and the displacement of Muslim and Jewish populations. Christian settlers were prioritized in governance and land allocation. Religious Exclusivity: While later Crusader states became somewhat tolerant out of necessity, Muslims and Jews were often relegated to subordinate roles. Economic Focus on Europe: Trade networks were often geared towards European interests, with limited local economic integration.
@hadi11911 I have a problem with you putting a numerical number on it. You indicated that Palestine might be liberated in 3 years due to a pattern that you found of Damascus and Jerusalem each being liberated within 3 years of each other. I said that's a limited way of looking at history.
wonderful, thank you, may we heighten our sense of truth seeking and distinguishing it form what is not truth...I do not want to be on the wrong side of histoy/truth
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says: فِي بِضۡعِ سِنِينَ ۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَمِنۢ بَعۡدُ ۚ وَيَوۡمَئِذٍ يَفۡرَحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ "Within three to nine years. *To Allah belongs the command before and after.* And that day the believers will rejoice" Surah Ar-Room 30 Ayah 4
At Talak 2-3
Whether our shortsightedness likes it or dislikes it *The Will of Allah will always be done* Allah extends the enjoyment of the disbelievers on this Earth until once the warnings have been delivered to them, *He seizes* them *unexpectedly* with His terrible punishment
Feigned retreat Strategies Such as " Swerving " to join and aid another group in battle or retreating as a strategy not to abandon the fight but to seek a favourable position to return to
I found Zainab Al Ghazali‘s memoir, but couldnt find the book concerning the Karamat during the Afghanistan war - in case you receive that please share a link to buy it (if it is available) thank you!!
Didn’t the leaders of Syria HTS say they will not allow any weapons to go through Syria doesn’t that mean they don’t support the Palestinians and will not allow military equipment to reach the Palestinians
I prefer Sami Hamdi's theory over his, no disrespect to the brother. While he emphasizes victory, it often seems random in the context of his theory. He also claims nasr (victory) stagnated after the Sahaba (may Allah bless them), but this stagnation began earlier during the times of the sahabah, during their internal conflicts. And even after these pious sahabah died thats when the momentum of nasr even started again and the muslims after them conquered from spain to afghanistan. This theory overlooks Islamic heroes who resisted colonialism at the very early stages, such as those in Libya, Chechnya, or even Hussein Ra (may Allah be pleased with them all), who sacrificed their lives but couldn't prevent oppression or annexation. As if they werent pious enough so victory wasnt planned for them. Sami Hamdi's focus on struggle, leaving victory entirely to Allah, aligns better with my fitra. It emphasizes that our generation's efforts may pave the way for future victories, aligning with the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) timeline for the Ummah. Allah judges based on our struggles for justice, not just outcomes. In short, while this brother emphasizes victory, Sami Hamdi values the struggle, which feels more fitting as the ultimate victory for the Ummah is Paradise.
He did emphasize stugle, and he touched the subject of Jz. Hussain. See the whole thing again. Dr. Shadi gives a balance between the work and the work of Allah swt.
I noticed he mentioned Afghanistan's win against the Soviers but not against the US and NATO. I wonder if he worries about the US coming after him bc they list the Taliban as Tier 1 terrorists.
Assalamo alaykom , I felt like there was little desperation ,and I had to say something despite all the conversation and its importance!! I would like to address that not all the west is out to destroy Muslim, including Jews some of them are fighting our fight against the tyranny, the problem is some of the people but mostly the leaders in western society that are protecting their wealth and the wealth of the rich greedy capitalists!! And that is problem that the west itself is struggling with, and on the other hand is the ideology of supremacy, and liberal “absolute freedom”that is taking the world to give up morality and ethnic ,in order to gain power over people on turn them into money machine consumption!! So in my opinion ,considering all these Muslims that are living in the west and enjoying their freedom to exercise and express their beliefs ,and fighting for it , I would love to see how can we help our communities here in the west and try to invite them to this beaut path of Allah and save them from themselves!! Remember the victory can come from where you don’t expect, because the tyrant Muslim leaders are worse , in know the things are looking up ,and hopefully Syria will surprise us!! Inchallah. Love you all !

Israel can win 100 battles and cannot afford to lose ONE battle! This is what happen to a nation who relies on brute force to maintain their dominance of others. The DAY Israel loses one battle, this will be the END of Israel. The resistance Courage and Resilience which the IDF lack truly is the determining factor which tell which party will emerge victorious in the long run. If you are not willing to DIE for your Cause, your GOAL will be ELUSIVE always!
If you find colonial lines called nation state, u failed but see it as emara or governing body for ummah then victory is promised. I know its hard for some non law 'liberals'.

I’m starting to feel fatigued listening to Imams repeat the same historical references, reaffirming their confirmation and cognitive biases. What I want to see is for these imams to run for a political office so that they have real skin in the game. Please stop talking and “move.”
But this is definetely not a victory and if it is PLEASE GIVE REAL FACTS I know Allah subhana ea ta allah manages the history in was that we dont understand BUT THIS IS NOT A VICTORY AT LEAST NOT GENERAL
Asalam let just stop this conflict Sunna Shia I beg u brothers and sisters learn from each other , not to hurt each other but I have to say something everybody need two weighty things that is the Quran and ahlubut phophet family peace upon them all , we are all waiting for imam Mahdi afts but we need strive harder harder
Is there a clear definition of human rights, civil and individual freedom, the right of non Muslim minorities to participate in the process of political decision making in Koran?

When will you real ease part 2 of the latest Sami Handi episode
What’s becoming so obvious to people now is that colonialism has never ended just rebranded with different terms. From Natives indigenous people being called “savages” in the old days to now being called “terrorist” by neocolonialists who are neoliberals, neoconservatives, and zionist.
1) Savages is now “terrorist”
2) Civilizing them is now “bringing them democracy”
3) Colonies is now “territories”
We can all see Israel is a colonial project being supported by former and current colonials such as U.S, UK, and others who also control territories of indigenous natives in Caribbean Islands, Pacific Islands, Hawaii, and many more.
The liberation of Palestine will definitely give RISE to many indigenous natives around the world to free themselves from western domination. This is the underlying ripple effect that the U.S government and its puppet allies don’t want to happen
Please BROTHER I BELIEVE YOU ALSO HAVE TO ADDRESS FACTS OF WHO REALLY ARE THIS REBELDS

Absolutely smashing it with these top level guests
What's "top level" about this guy?
MaShaAllah, Dr Shadee is brilliant as usual. Thanks for bringing him on. The discussion on the concept of victory was pertinent because on the one side we have a Gaza that makes depressing news and on the other we have Syria where our brothers & sisters have at least a respite!
Please share the first book of Nusra that Dr Shadee mentioned in the 29th /30th minute!
Is just a change of regime it will be the same or even worse because now will be under israel control THATS WHY THEY ADDED THE THIRD STAR IN THE FLAG

Mashallah this was a lot too take in but alhamdulillah very needed for the Ummah. Thanks and may Allah bless you 🤲🏾❤️
My heart bleeds for the ummah who are actually being punished all over due to not fixing themselves, it's actually going to get worse sadly for the ummah, they're split against each other with so much chaos, saddenbto say all will be played as time goes by, those who claim Allah is gifting the ummah don't see or understand his signs all over the Middle East and beyond. His gift will truly come with victory once we look at ourselves and truly fix up
The problem is not that we don't believe we are going to win, but rather, we fear that when the victory comes, we may not live and get to experience that victory.
DISCUSSION SUMMARY
Introduction 00:00
The Syrian people have experienced a remarkable victory with the fall of a brutal dictator, despite the odds being against them 00:25
This victory has Islamic significance and raises questions about the concepts of victory and seeking help from Allah 00:34
The relationship between Allah's help, victory, and human actions will be explored 00:51
Allah’s victory? 02:09
The fall of Bashar in Syria can be seen as an example of Allah's victory, bringing relief to the Syrian people 02:09
The event has brought happiness and a sense of release to many Muslims, who had been feeling down due to the ongoing genocide 02:29
The unanimous celebration among Syrian scholars and the Muslim community suggests that this is a gift from Allah 03:53
Realists in Ummah 04:11
Some Muslims questioned and raised concerns about the Syrian victory, which can be seen as a realistic approach, but it's also important to consider the Islamic perspective of mirroring a pious Muslim's state in times of celebration 04:30
The Syrian people know their country best and should be allowed to lead on their own, as they were the ones who suffered and revolted in the first place 06:10
The axis of resistance is not the primary concern, but rather the well-being of the Syrian people, who have suffered greatly under Bashar's rule 06:56
Victory and the Help of Allah 07:30
The concept of "n" (victory) and "f" (help) in Islam, where "n" implies a victory with fighting, and "f" implies a victory without fighting, and divine aid is a guarantee of victory 07:51
Allah gives victory to the truth, not to a specific religious group or identity, and one must follow the truth to achieve victory 10:08
The principle of obedience is crucial in achieving victory, as seen in the Battle of Uhud, where the Muslims suffered losses despite having the power and the presence of the Prophet 10:30
Muslims' Practice of Islam and Their Status 11:20
When Muslims practice Islam, they achieve victory and prosperity, but when they leave Islam and adopt nationalism and secularism, they become divided and weak 11:29
The Islamic world is currently more divided and weaker than it was 200 years ago, with non-believers having more control and influence 11:43
The comparison between Muslims and non-believers shows that when Muslims leave their religion, they become weaker, while non-believers become stronger when they leave their false religions 12:29
Leaders in Ummah 13:54
To be deserving of victory, the Muslim Ummah needs to be upright and pious, as this principle applies at a national and military level, not individual level 13:55.
Competing obligations 17:40
A Muslim's practice of Islam, political, and military capabilities are interconnected and should be weighed against each other 17:40
Part of a Muslim's religious obligation is to prepare and strengthen themselves, which is equal to other religious obligations in the Quran 18:23
Providing for one's family is also a religious obligation, and a person's ability to do so should be considered when evaluating their overall religiosity 19:10
Allah's Promise of Victory 22:29
Allah has given Muslims a ratio of power to consider when deciding whether to engage in a fight, which is 1 to 10, but has been reduced to 1 to 2 due to the weakness of Muslims 21:08
This ratio allows Muslims to make practical decisions about when to fight and when to make a deal with their enemies 20:53
Historical examples, such as Salahuddin's conquest of Syria and Egypt, demonstrate the importance of building up Muslim power before seeking to reclaim Jerusalem 22:29
Withholding Victory 24:54
Allah sometimes withholds victory from Muslims, not because they are less believing, but due to a wisdom that may not be immediately apparent 24:59
The inability of Muslim armies to penetrate the walls of Constantinople is an example of this, and did not lead to doubts about the truthfulness of Islam 25:23
Losses in battle can actually serve to strengthen a person's faith and lead them to re-evaluate their priorities 26:51
Allah’s intervention 28:28
Extraordinary events, unexplained by science or mathematics, can occur during battles, suggesting Allah's intervention to help believers 28:42.
Conditions for Allah's intervention 31:59
A personal level of commitment to the faith and to Allah is necessary to expect or hope for intervention 31:59.
Being truthful and on the truth is what matters, not being perfect or sinless 32:11.
Making Toba (repentance) is essential, and having a good record of not committing sins regularly is important to receive divine blessings 33:18.
Acceptance by Allah 33:52
Allah does not require a perfect record or a PhD in theology to accept someone 33:52.
The concept of waiting for victory from Allah is often misunderstood, and Muslims should not wait passively for it, but rather strive and struggle to achieve it 35:52.
Gaza’s victory 39:39
The liberation of Gaza is considered a difficult task due to the strong backing of Israel by the United States, but the people of Gaza have chosen to resist and fight for their freedom 40:45.
Hypocrisy 45:36
Hypocrisy is a dangerous label to pin on others, and it's better to focus on recognizing the signs of hypocrisy in oneself 45:42
One sign of hypocrisy is saying something without acting on it, as stated in the Quran: "Oh you who believe, why do you say what you don't do?" 46:25
Weakness of faith (Iman) can be a result of a lack of awareness or remembrance of Allah's power, which can lead to a limited mindset 46:50
Victory and Success 47:05
Allah's power and victory are not limited to prophethood, and small groups can defeat large groups, as stated in the Quran 47:13
People often put mental shackles on themselves, limiting their potential and making it difficult to accept success or victory 47:38
Some people may be uncomfortable with success and subconsciously sabotage their own progress due to a comfort zone of unhappiness 48:11
Eschatology and Success 48:51
There is no eschatological evidence that precludes great successes in the Muslim ummah, and there may be preludes to future successes 48:57
A misunderstanding of eschatology can lead to depression, but recognizing the potential for success can be uplifting 49:44
Believer’s mindset 49:54
A believer's mindset should balance between understanding eschatology and taking action, as inaction is a false interpretation of the signs of the end of time 50:27.
The balance is to understand that the Shar will not give two opposite things, and when Allah tells us about the signs of the end of time, these signs must match action 50:34.
A believer should not wait for good things to come but take action, as good things will come to people who take action 51:34.
Balance between action and reliance on Allah 54:11
It is permitted to ask Allah to bring good things quickly, but the line is drawn when Allah brings it forward, which is not on our time 55:02.
Asking for something to come quickly should not constrain our actions or be a crutch to take inaction 55:47.
It is not permissible to set a timeline for Allah unless the timeline is set by someone else, such as an enemy or a deadline 56:07.
Importance of Dua 56:36
Dua should not be restricted to what seems politically plausible, but rather ask for the impossible 56:45
Allah's power is not limited by human imagination, and He can bring about victory from unexpected sources 57:31
Lack of imagination and submission to Allah's power can be a weakness in making Dua 58:26
Value of Tahhajud 01:00:18
Tahajud is an important asset for a believer, especially in dark times, and is integral to worship 01:00:19
The Prophet emphasized the value of Dua after obligatory prayers, and every Muslim should take advantage of this opportunity 01:00:31
Salah is a gift from Allah, and making Dua after Salah is a way to claim this gift and have one's needs and wants answered 01:01:18
Battle of Prophet 01:02:39
Studying the battles of the Prophet Sall Al wasallam provides a deeper understanding of Islamic concepts and their applicability in the world 01:02:44.
The Importance of Defense 01:06:04
Defense is a crucial aspect of maintaining a nation, and the concept of sending battalions to remind opposing nations of one's military strength is rooted in Islamic history 01:06:11.
Military parades serve as a display of confidence and a warning to other nations, and the idea of having a strong military is essential for protecting one's lands 01:06:36.
The Impact of Modernism and Secularism 01:07:59
The concept of jihad has been clouded by groups like ISIS, leading to a decline in discussion and participation in jihad, and some individuals have adopted a more modernist and secular approach to Islam 01:08:07.
Studying the battles of the Prophet is essential for understanding the principles of warfare and the importance of obedience, meekness, and humility in front of Allah 01:08:54.
Giving up 01:10:47
The struggle in Syria and the Muslim world can lead to feelings of exhaustion and giving up, but this is not an acceptable option in Islam 01:10:50.
Jazakumullahu khayran!

We should celebrate the liberation of Syria and keep praying and try to be optimistic for the liberation of Palestine. I like Dr Shadee al-Masri advice that we should strive and keep doing our parts as Muslim ummah
One has to be a special kind of brain dead to see the occupation of Syria by Israeli and Zionist-funded-and-supported Salafist filth as liberation.
You guys discovered almost all of our weakness.mal Allah increases your knowledge und reward you for reminding us to be ready for all.

That's not how it works. You're trying to find patterns that aren't there. You left out how the Muslims lost to the crusaders several times.
Common Patterns:
Strategic Proximity: Securing Damascus often precedes efforts in Palestine due to its geographical and strategic importance.
Cultural and Religious Unity: Both regions have shared historical, religious, and cultural connections, making their liberation movements often interdependent.
Intertwined Struggles: Throughout history, foreign invasions or occupations in one region have frequently led to struggles impacting the other.
1. Under Muslim Rule
Early Islamic Rule (Umayyad, Abbasid Caliphates):
Religious Tolerance:
Non-Muslims (Christians and Jews) were granted dhimmi status, which provided them protection in exchange for paying the jizya tax.
Freedom to practice religion, maintain places of worship, and engage in trade was often ensured.
Many historians note that religious minorities had better protections compared to some non-Muslim regimes.
Economic Prosperity:
Damascus became the capital of the Umayyad Caliphate and flourished as a center of trade, culture, and scholarship.
Economic policies were often inclusive, allowing all communities to participate in trade and crafts.
Infrastructure such as roads, mosques, and marketplaces were developed extensively.
Social Welfare:
Charitable systems like waqf (endowments) supported education, healthcare, and public infrastructure.
Zakat and Sadaqah (charitable taxes) played a significant role in uplifting the underprivileged.
Justice System:
The Sharia-based justice system offered speedy resolution of disputes, though it maintained distinctions between Muslims and non-Muslims.
2. Under Non-Muslim Rule
Byzantine Period (Pre-Islamic Era):
Religious Persecution:
Non-Chalcedonian Christians (e.g., Copts, Syriacs) faced persecution under Byzantine orthodoxy, while Jews had restricted freedoms.
Pagan practices were largely eradicated by force after the Christianization of the empire.
Economic Inequalities:
Heavy taxation burdened the rural and lower classes.
Wealth was concentrated in the hands of elites, particularly the Church and the aristocracy.
Limited Infrastructure:
Though some urban centers like Damascus were well-maintained, rural areas often suffered from neglect.
Crusader Period (1099-1291):
Displacement of Locals:
The Crusader conquest of Jerusalem in 1099 was marked by massacres and the displacement of Muslim and Jewish populations.
Christian settlers were prioritized in governance and land allocation.
Religious Exclusivity:
While later Crusader states became somewhat tolerant out of necessity, Muslims and Jews were often relegated to subordinate roles.
Economic Focus on Europe:
Trade networks were often geared towards European interests, with limited local economic integration.
@hadi11911 I have a problem with you putting a numerical number on it. You indicated that Palestine might be liberated in 3 years due to a pattern that you found of Damascus and Jerusalem each being liberated within 3 years of each other. I said that's a limited way of looking at history.

Does anyone know the interview that Shadee mentioned at the 41 minute mark?

Another fanatastic episode
To be fair I think we need skeptics in our ummah to have broad points of view
Allah knows best
The problem is the non-syrian takfiris. Another problem is the influence of Turkey and israel on these 'groups'. Dont be so easily fooled.

im not a big fan of Asad but who is the current Syrian government siding with right now?
Inchallah. Love you all !

can you bring on Sheik Hamza Yusuf?
Israel can win 100 battles and cannot afford to lose ONE battle! This is what happen to a nation who relies on brute force to maintain their dominance of others. The DAY Israel loses one battle, this will be the END of Israel. The resistance Courage and Resilience which the IDF lack truly is the determining factor which tell which party will emerge victorious in the long run. If you are not willing to DIE for your Cause, your GOAL will be ELUSIVE always!
Can you try to get shaykh Hamza Yusuf on the podcast?
6:00 This is an Arabic saying, not a saying of the Prophet.
❤
If you find colonial lines called nation state, u failed but see it as emara or governing body for ummah then victory is promised. I know its hard for some non law 'liberals'.
Actually this rebelds are very very close to the israeli entity they even get treatment in Their hospitals
11:50 ahistorical 200-300 years ago. Muslim nations were directly under colonial occupation

34:43 What is the difference between the guest (so called doctor) and is is( black flag group in Syria and Iraq) ? he is clearly giving example for people that if you un-alive pagans without doing anything you can directly go to heaven. Pagans from his and his region perspective are hindus, sikhs, jains, yazidis, zoroastrian etc, is is (black flag group in Syria and Iraq) and other Invaders did the same thing what he is preaching,
I’m starting to feel fatigued listening to Imams repeat the same historical references, reaffirming their confirmation and cognitive biases. What I want to see is for these imams to run for a political office so that they have real skin in the game. Please stop talking and “move.”
But this is definetely not a victory and if it is PLEASE GIVE REAL FACTS
I know Allah subhana ea ta allah manages the history in was that we dont understand BUT THIS IS NOT A VICTORY AT LEAST NOT GENERAL
