My feeling too, didnt know any of the skaters prior to this Olympics but I could see Yuzuru's skating is superior quality. I'm a huge fan now, wish I knew him earlier.

To me, Nathan is the best. His confidence and consistency is out of this world, and I love his refreshing style of artistry. So tired of all the skaters trying to be the same.
Fez escola!
Well done to all the Athletes! Congratulations to Nathen, Kagiyama and Shoma for the medals! Yuzuru you were as always a dream on ice, Absolutely breath taking! You did us all proud!
Nathan Chen deserves the gold. He had a lot of passion and energy in his performance, you can feel and see the fun and joy in his face just watching the performance. His ability to time his jumps and spins with the music was incredible. That first jump timed with the music perfectly and the presentation towards the end was stunning.

Nathan Chen performed extremely well...congrats to the winners. love for Hanyu, he tried his best to conquer the quadruple, and obviously, he is the GOAT of figure skating.
You did it Nathan, It would have been a travesty if you retired with out an Olympic gold medal, it was yours for the taken & from the start of your short program you grabbed it with both hands & never let it go!! You are the most exciting skater in the world. You pushed the boundaries of your sport with your unrivaled athleticism, creative artistry, even your choice of costumes by Vera Wang, starting with the one-piece bodysuits with the color blocking at the 2018 season/Olympic year. Looking back on those costumes, with there strip down minimalism, aerodynamic, fresh & clean, with-out all that extra clutter, they will never look outdated. I absolutely love everything you wear, including the graphic print tops & pant combos you are wearing today. Before you starting working with Vera Wang you were just another skater among a sea of over beaded rhinestones skaters with no individual style. You did not conform to the norm , instead followed your own path & in turn created your own unique legacy that will live forever. I just pray to the skating gods that you give us another 4 year to the next Olympic games. I feel your true greatness only started four years ago when you bounced back from you devastating short program at the 2018 Olympic games where you went on to win the long program and all major competitions since then!! No one has come close to you since then, talk about domination!! Wish you all the best in your life!!
"You are the most exciting skater in the world. You pushed the boundaries of your sport with your unrivaled athleticism, creative artistry, even your choice of costumes by Vera Wang" 🎯
I'm so glad to be able to witness a great decade in figure skating world. I started enjoying fs since 1988 I guess. I paid more attention to pair and female skaters. I stopped somehow seeing no progress in this field. But now a returner. Never knew before that men's single competition could be so interesting, too. Yuzuru is such a phenomenon. He set a high standard for other skaters. Many new fans here. I hope you all learn about sportsmanship from these athletes. They all deserves what they got. As for ISU I hope they work as hard as those athletes do, too. Catering the passions for figure skating. Giving opportunity for the new blood, and respecting the ones who carved the history in figure skating as well.
Jason Brown doesn’t have any quads, but he has one of the most ethereal skates in men’s. Can I just say that Brian Orser’s students, I find that they have one of the most beautiful jumps in figure skating!
That was one of the best skating performances I've seen in a long time, Nathan. Congratulations! I love the way the you transitioned between Goodbye Yellow Brick Road to Rocketman with Circle of Life and then that ending was WOW!
@@jonathanfelipe3139 hanyu wasn't the only one injured in this competition and it certainly doesn't justify that he wasnt able to win against nathan last 4 years. Nathan has a nagging hip injury since 2016, shoma uno has had an ankle injury, etc. They are just more gracious to not appear intenlty before cameras in the waiting room with ice and mimicking postures to gain sympathy i guess. Different sportsmanship views 😉 Lastly, nathan remarks were ignorant, not homophobic. But for the record, hanyu also said ignorant remarks 😃
@@alena9012 then What did Yuzu say?? Yuzu also has a long history of injuries, but the one that is the problem was A DAY before free skating in open practice when he practiced 4A and had a bad fall.
Yuzuru sera eterno! Fez escola! Inesquecível e espero q volte nas próximas olimpíadas! Yuma sera o yuzuru do futuro?
Yuzuru is the greatest figure skater of all time! Especially when you look in comparison with other skaters, you understand that there has never been such a skater, where everything is harmonious, absolutely everything! What great skating (high level skater's skills), what competent jumps from the position of biomechanics, excellent choreography, flexibility, incredible sense of music!♡♡♡
It’s a miracle Yuzuru even managed to get on the ice for this final showdown, considering the situation with his ankle that he’d been dealing with for years, and the injury he sustained at practice the day before the event; at that point it didn’t even matter to me if he won or lost, what mattered to the very end was his resilience and his unmatched strength of character. That’s why he will forever be my favorite skater (and for his lovely costumes, seriously this one is a work of art). Junhwan was unbelievable! How he recovered from that hard fall and skated a beautiful program is a feat in itself. I’m super happy for him and I know he will be on the podium in 2026. Donovan being there was one of the highlights of the entire event! Sooo proud and I hope he keeps getting better. ROMSKY THOUGH 😭

Congratulations to all who participated and the winners. Yuzuru, you're always brave on pioneering different things in the sport. I do believe that you'd be able to master the 4A someday. No one have ever skated the same as you do, the way you balance the technical elements and artistry is always different. I can't believe this is your last Olympics since you've already retired. It will never be the same again. Thank you for giving your best. You're the greatest of all time! GOAT 🐐
mad respect to all skaters. and even though yuzu didn't land the 4a you cant deny the fact he is truly the GOAT of figure skating after all he has done in his career, this is me commenting after hearing news he had landed the 4a five times during practice before he got injured (without a harness). so you can throw hate at him, bring him down all you want, but he's going to keep growing higher and higher.
Yuzuru is the ''GOAT of the Century''. Placed 6 in Top 10 ''GOATs of the Century'' list. Belongs to the class of ''GOATs and Legends''. He's on a different level, GOAT of the Century level. No one can surpass him. No one can replace him. Artificially created ''score sheet champions'' come and go... and GOAT remains the GOAT. Fly GOAT Yuzu !! 👍

The only standing ovation for Quad King Nathan Chen!!! Victory feels so sweet!!! He did six quad jumps in last Olympics and not five as what the English commentary said. I wonder if 3M sponsors him for the N95 mask lol. Poor him wearing that mask and panting so much after his performance. Hope that he can incorporate more hip hop music and moves in his future programs. It is a breath of fresh air to the usual classical or pop music used.
He certainly has an original style that works for him. He is also the most consistent at making quads looks so easy! Just enjoy his mostly error-free programs!

My feeling too, didnt know any of the skaters prior to this Olympics but I could see Yuzuru's skating is superior quality. I'm a huge fan now, wish I knew him earlier.

Nathan is the best. Congratulation.

I’m super happy for him and I know he will be on the podium in 2026.

mad respect to all skaters. and even though yuzu didn't land the 4a you cant deny the fact he is truly the GOAT of figure skating after all he has done in his career, this is me commenting after hearing news he had landed the 4a five times during practice before he got injured (without a harness). so you can throw hate at him, bring him down all you want, but he's going to keep growing higher and higher.
