Oh my I have discarded so many magazines, But with your video I will be keeping them, thanks for the great great idea. Cant hear you very good tonight. Maybe its my computer I don'"t know . Love all your work.
Very nice done I like your work as you don't think about it to much and you don't have fancy bits around I like to no which is best for a lap top and a good printer .Am getting a lot from charity shops thing and am just started of on a low budget to just need a good idea for lap top and printer .Am a UK following your ideas thanks for the good tips xx
I love how you described the paper as fabric! I myself sew as well and have played with paper and collage when I was younger, because of my older sister. She has quite the eclectic nature of design and decor. I imagine your home is decorated in an eclectic design. Thank you Rachel. Your precious.
I need to try using the old magazines. I haven't really done collage much so need to also try my hand at that . I watch videos like you and use them as background noise as I do other stuff. Then when I look up I have to rewind to see how something was done.
Hi. I came to paper from quilting and never folded instructions and I couldn’t figure out the bird part either. Still a little wary. I love your videos because of your thought process. Thanks for sharing.
Leave it, it’s your style. I agree, Sue should sell ruffles. I love the embroidery you did on the quilt you and Sarah designed for “Homespun” so I’d love to see more of that and patterns to buy to sew on our antique hemps and linens. As if you had nothing else to do.🤪 its a really good sign when your talking to the paper and the glue stick and the scissors.....
Thank you so much Lisa! I would love to do more embroidery, I flap about a lot especially when i have orders. It's hard to focus!!! I'll write it down so I don't forget! Yes the scissors and papers are great company!!!
I never thought of using magazines & I have a stack of the Edible magazines & the pages are heavier than average. I was trying to decide if I should just chuck them or not, so thank you for making that decision for me lol. Thx sweetie, toodles
I really enjoyed watching your process. They turned out lovely! I would like to see how you use them in a journal. They seem pretty tall to be put in lengthwise, but that’s the orientation you used with your collaging so it must be what you have in mind. Unless your journals are really big... curious minds want to know. 😃
Thank you so much Susan! I just automatically made them that way because that the orientation of the book page, I didn't think of changing direction. Might have to give that a go! I am making 3 very large journal for some clients so some of these will go in those. Best wishes Rachel
Thank you so much Kara! A flip out page is hinged onto another page. You can do this with washi tape or by sewing them onto the page. It give you and extra place to journal or attach photos. I have used them in my travel journals.
I've seen someone in a video (i can't remember who she was) who tear narrow pieces of paper like you, and she uses tweezers to catch the paper instead of her fingers and it works :) Sabine
I should do this when I'm bored. since I'm laid up for awhile I have a lot of time on my hands. [recuperating w/ a broken ankle]. not quite back in the mood to tackle a full blown project. this would be perfect. I like ripping paper so why not put it to good use? I like your videos, easy to watch and don't need the sound on if Idon't want to. Shirley Harrington
Thank you so much! Don't worry I kept the ones I like! I was going to through those out as i won't use them so I thought it was better to repurpose them.
Great use of paper! Love seeing paper saved & re-purposed instead of being sent to the trash.
Thank you so much!

Lol. You always have to check. No doubts then.

I have a how to make a journal playlist. Thank you so much 😊

Huh, you have a lot of work ahead of you!!!
Fabri-tac makes a spray glue that is at Dollar Tree....I don’t know if you have one where you live. It works great on items with holes in them😄

Thanks Rachel! Hope you show us the large journals when they’re done!
Your art is very pretty:}
Thank you so much!
what kind of printer you have now Rachel? and every thing is so pretty.
Thank you! Rachel for sharing this. See you around.
Thank you so much! I bought an Epson eco tank ET-2600, woo hoo!
I think one of your wax seals would be pretty on them too❤🏵🌸☀
Will give it a go!!
I'm curious to know what printer you use to be able to print out digital kits?
I use an Epson ET-2600. I really like it.
So lovely! What kind of printer did you get? -Thanks!
Thank you so much! I bought an Epson eco tank ET-2600, woo hoo!
I was going to say on your last video to fold your regular glue pages the long way and make long tags with them. They would be so cute.
Oh great idea! I'll try it. Thanks so much!
Ok, silly questions, but what are “flip out” pages and how do yo-yo use them? Thank you for some neat collaging ideas🙂
Thank you so much Kara! A flip out page is hinged onto another page. You can do this with washi tape or by sewing them onto the page. It give you and extra place to journal or attach photos. I have used them in my travel journals.

Thank you so much! I hope you feel better soon! Ripping paper sounds like the perfect project for you! Best wishes Rachel
Super cute ideas. Please don't cover up all of those Daphne's Diary pages...some of them are just gorgeous. Thanks.
Thank you so much! Don't worry I kept the ones I like! I was going to through those out as i won't use them so I thought it was better to repurpose them.
Thank goodness Roxy. These pages are definitely keepers. Thank you.
ALL OF YOUR ART IS AN EXPRESSION OF UR MOOD... DO YOU EVER JOURNAL WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD WAY?
I do sometimes it helps what ever is annoying me go away.
Did you raise your nephew?
No, his parent did.
