You know it's easy to put some lights on that thing if your gonna drive at night.. most of mine do.
You're getting there! I've had mine at 61 and blew up some 6s rated backflip dboot tires. I've wasted several sets of tires and can't keep mine on the ground. I've never gotten to full throttle yet but I'm shooting for 100 mph! Keep up the good work and you'll get her up there!
Yes that's one of the major things I haven't figured out yet is which tires to go with, on 4S the stock tires drive perfectly but on 6s I can't control it, and also that my goal I want to get it up to at least 100Mph.. Thanks for the input, and thanks for watching..

@@jaayflipsto100k3 not at all.. if you build it to jump hills the diffs will be fine, but if you build it to go fast you need to shim the diffs to tighten them up, its not hard, doesn't cost much, but it takes a little time. It runs about 40mph out of the box on 4s, and when you compare the price to a kraton or a xmaxx there is a lot of room there for upgrades without hitting those price points. But honestly out of all my RC this is my favorite, I really love this truck. I love the size of it, its easier to see further away, its love how it drives.. and its pretty durable, It has took a beating and hasn't had any major problems at all.
Seems like you'd be better if you locked up the center diff with wax ear plugs, they're cheap at CVS or any other pharmacy

Run two 3s batteries it will run better and move your esc closer to the motor and shorten your wiring

Sim that center diff,and you’ll get even better traction
I shimmed the center diff, I think I may need to shim the rear a little and I used grease In the rear I need to take it out and put diff fluid.. ill prob start working on it today..
@@williamblanks8500 what type of oil differential did you use?
@@yandel11210 In the center diff I used automotive Gear oil, STP (brand) 80W-90 .. That works fine for me and I will probably put it in all 3 diffs, but you will get a lot of different recommendations depending on where and how you drive your truck.. I had a few bottles laying around and used what I had bc it was "free."
I just shimmed my center diff,put some grease we use for differentials at work and runnning like a champ! Wanna do that 6s though,what kind of ESC YOU RUNNING? 150A
@@yandel11210 I am using the surpass hobby 150a esc.. the good thing about it is, its probably the cheapest 150amp esc you will find, the bad thing about it is the cooling fan isn't waterproof, so if you are gonna get it wet you need to remove the fan or it could short out and catch the ESC on fire.. Also you need to make sure you follow the instructions in the manual relating to proper KV for 4S or 6S and for On road or off road.. If you do all of those things you shouldn't have a problem.. Nice! The review and video I've been looking for. Can you please tell me your whole set up and gearing; pinion? I just bought a surpass combo set 2000kv with 150a esc. Putting it on an off road 1/8 scale hpi Savage25. And what phone app speed test are you using? SUBSCRIBED!
In this video I am using the stock motor and spur gear, I have tried up to a 17 tooth pinion with the stock motor but in the shredder I wouldn't go more than that, when I tried the 19 or 20 tooth it ran fast for 1 or 2 runs the it blew the stock esc. I do have the same 150amp esc and surpass hobby 2000kv motor in an 1/8th scale buggy but I haven't tried that motor in the shredder yet.. I can't remember the exact gearing of the buggy but I will go thru soon and make a video about it because I haven't talked about it much on the channel.. The app is a GPS Speedometer app downloaded free on Android play store, it has ads sometimes but it's worth it to have a "free" speedo..
