- Here's another project for DIY earrings and/or a Love Knot Birthstone Pendant. This tutorial teaches you how to make a simple love knot pendant to use as a component in your jewelry designs. With a few crystals, pearls or beads and some wire you can have your own unique accessories that are tailored to your personality.

For the Pendant in the tutorial I used, 3, 15 mm 18 gauge open jump rings, 1, 1/2 inch 24 gauge ball head pin, 1 5mm, open jump ring and 1, 7mm amethyst faceted round bead.
For the earrings I used 6, 10 mm, 18 gauge open jump rings, 2, 4mm pearls, 2, 1 1/2inch ball head pins and 2 ear wires. The earrings measure about 1 1/2inches from top of the hook to bottom of the live knot. For the gold earring I used. 3, 8mm, 18 gauge jump rings, 1 head pin and 1,3 mm pearl.
There’s a lot of versatility in this design so feel free to mix it up!

I have been enjoying your tutorials, Denise, but it would really help if the sound was turned up as I can barely hear your voice at times. Not being critical, just helpful, as your tutorials are great!
Just got a new microphone, hopefully it will be louder now. But please let me know if it’s not better. And thanks for your input it’s always appreciated😊
