crime violates law. In deviance we break social norms and cultural Standards . Eg saying hi hello is acceptable behavior. Violation of. Deviance may be positive or negative. Crime is always negative.
Eg a person speaking urdu while all others speak Punjabi. Positive deviance is this. Right is. Informal deviance, if someone is said to be mad, weird work, no ethics eg in winter if summer clothes are worn. No punishment. Formal deviance, action is said to be criminal.
