Wow I just asked about this in the other episode and this is so cool. My mistake when try to apply the template was, that I tried to use divi editor instead of the basic editor in my Post and new post. thanks a lot for this great tip.
MAK, you are SO gifted. Thanks for doing this work. As commenters have said below, it's blowing my mind the things that are possible, that you are showing.
Mind. Blown. Thank you! I always felt trying to get posts formatted, added, redesigned, etc. was a HUGE pain. I had no idea about the theme template builder!! Thank you thank you thank you!
Thanks for the tutorial. I have a problem though. Every time I change content (text or picture) it changes them in every post. What do I have to do to change the content in a blog module without affecting other blog posts?
Once again, a very great how-to video; well done bro. How can you add social share icons on the newly built blog post template; so you can share the posts currently being viewed to all the social platforms of interest. Kindly advise. Cheers.
I just recently found your channel and discovered DIVI just before finding your channel :-( How can I get your class. I am having issues building a website. Great job on all your videos. you explain very well. Thank you.
you are just great as hell man! Awesome work Keep up with that. Divi is making me some kind of Obsessive when I try to Build a website but after watching your tutorial it makes me How real classy is DIVI can be. Keep up the work man For helping us.
I had the same problem as Debra. Don't see a response to her... I made it up to the point of Add New Post, and when it opened up, it was different that what you show--being able to choose between the Divi Builder or the Default Editor. Mine opened up into a regular post page, and only one button for the Divi Builder, which I did not select. How can I get beyond this point?
Dear MAK! Thanks a lot for the video! It was really helpful. And just to let you knew, i have been laughing on that part (by time: 6:40) :) already for two days...you are so funny :).....
When I add my full-width post title it is lined up on the left, but the body of the post is indented because it's set to 80% width. Yours is flush on the left side. What did I do wrong, and how can I change it? I had to max out the width of the body text to 2560 px, and the width at 100%. Is that what I should do? It kind of looks like yours, but not.
Sometimes I repent why i paid for divi when i still have to use css, i could have used any template when i have to use such numbers of css. Anyways this is my experience and i m not happy when divi could have actually created it more easy and i didn't have tp search internet just to maintain the sizing of modules.

Perhaps the more recent updates between November 2019 to February 2020 have changed this?
Thanks for the tutorial, it was immensely helpful! I was tooling around with this feature on a website with a light-coloured background and I noticed the dynamic blog post content block was given a white background by default and I couldn’t change this. Has anyone else noticed this? Are we forced to have white backgrounds on blog posts?
Hi, thanks for the video, it was extra useful and I managed to create a template with ease. However, I have an issue with the blog title and wondered if you know what could be going on. (not new to blogging and been using WordPress for a decade). After I add a blog post and the title in the area designated for it it doesn't show in the preview. All my old post now appear without the title. The only way atm to go around it to type blow the image the title and use H1 for it. But that's not how I'd live to work with it. Any idea what I could do to fix this? Thanks so much. Ewa
Me too, thought it was just me. I have followed every step, when I refresh the page I don't see my features image although it's in design settings just like the tutorial. PLEASE HELP @MAK
Doesn't look like Mak responds to comments, does anyone know here how to get all blog posts to lists chronologically in say a 'blog' page? This tutorial explains each post, but I'm trying to figure out how he gets to those individual posts.
Hey MAK! I'm having trouble with the comments. I added them in a new section to my All posts template and I can see the layout is fine but when I save all I get is 0 comments, no prompt to add one or to sign up, nothing. Any ideas?
I already own Divi. Is there a way to get your course without buying Divi through your affiliate link? I find that all of the Divi documentation is old and I don't know how to use the new version.
This is great. I've wanted to create a post template in the new version of DIVI. I can't seem to figure out how to recreate some of the functionality I have had though. My current post has a section with a background image of the featured image. That has one row of a standard width with a text module with h1 dynamic to the post title. Under that is a 2/3rds 1/3rd specialty section. The left is where I put my post content followed by some standard items like links to other main content and social media links. On the right 1/3rd I put 5 image modules (they are global so I change them once and the whole site updates) that are linked to whatever I am featuring at the time. Then, a bottom section with global information for a campaign. Is there any way to fit the post content into just the 2/3rds section of the specialty section? I can't seem to make this work.
Flair Content if i understand you right, try searching in the search bar for it to appear. It seems like Divi is not showing all the modules in the visible list. 🤷🏻♂️
I just re-watched this video after tinkering around with Divi's various elements. Still keep coming back to this guy. Great explanations.
I have searched for the best tutorials, I 'd say you are the easiest to understand
Thank you very much. Your Divi tutorial are the best in UA-cam.
Finally after watching 6 tutorials for the same thing, I have found what I wanted in this video. Thanks a tonne for making this video.

Is there a way to create a custom sidebar for the post page?

Thank you for your quick pacing on the information in these videos! Even tho its fast... its very "Goldie Locks tempo... "Its just right!"
Great video! Maybe next and previous post navigation should also be necessary for each post?
you are just great as hell man! Awesome work Keep up with that. Divi is making me some kind of Obsessive when I try to Build a website but after watching your tutorial it makes me How real classy is DIVI can be. Keep up the work man For helping us.

Can you make a video on how to make a category box on blog page and posts?
Fabulous! Thank you for creating these super helpful tutorials. They've helped so much!
None of this works for me anymore - is there an updated blog setup video anywhere?
In Divi theme, this option is not existing THEME BUILDER that I need to do, please.
Hi MAK, What about Related Posts Section? Like the one Jetpack provides at the bottom of post just above comment section?
Great course! Short and to the point! Thanks!
Is there a way to edit the blog post lists to match with the layout of the actual posts?
Hi..Did you find a solution to this problem?
Thankyou, hugs from Brazil!
Can you add different blog templates to categories. One template for food category and then a different template applied to workout category etc.

Thanks for the tutorial, it was immensely helpful!

Yes happened to me as well. I have the same issue. Did you solve the problem? help!
@@amandaweiss6983 The background setting will show in the blog post, but not in the theme builder. So, adjust your bg and have a look in the front end
This is what I need. Thanks bro
Nice. Keep it up. Great Tutorial.
How to build the Archive pages template. Help us in your next video.

Please, ignore. I figured it out and watched the tutorial to the end. 😱🤪
Hi, I used divi builder to design a template for my blog post as illustrated. The problem is, it doesn't appear as designed when I publish my post.

Me too, thought it was just me.
I have followed every step, when I refresh the page I don't see my features image although it's in design settings just like the tutorial. PLEASE HELP @MAK
Is there a simple css to start the blog module excerpt at specific point in a post?
did they remove the Theme Builder? I couldn't find it on my Divi backend

Gracias por tus tutoriales .
I already own Divi. Is there a way to get your course without buying Divi through your affiliate link? I find that all of the Divi documentation is old and I don't know how to use the new version.

Flair Content if i understand you right, try searching in the search bar for it to appear. It seems like Divi is not showing all the modules in the visible list. 🤷🏻♂️
How can I achieve to add and edit Image Captions on each of my posts individually with the All Post Template on the Theme Builder?
There's a difference between a Journalist and an Opinion Editor as there is with a Tutor and Vlogger...
Thanks!!
If I build a post template as you described, do the posts that already exist on the site take on the new attributes ?
Yes they do.
Anyone who made this have problems with thair thmbnails in FB? I don't know if the reason is this layout
The Divi team really does a poor job compared to this guy. Great explanation!
Did he say MonsterRat? 😜
You go way too fast
you go way too fast when teaching
