Two question...1) Is the coffee hot? I’ve see many reviews with complaints that the coffee is not very hot. 2) Can you customize the size of the espresso by holding in the start button and releasing when desired espresso shot is reached and will this machine remember it? I have seen this feature on other Nespresso machines for those who want a stronger bolder flavor. I like a very strong espresso drink. I am throwing money away at Starbucks daily for a triple short flat white. When it’s made correctly, it’s good, but more and more I feel like they are only putting one shot of espresso. I’m getting tired of paying $6 for basically hot milk and would really like to start making them at home.
I just purchased a new Nespresso vertuo next machine and don't find the coffee hot enough.

Thanks for your post Peter. I've had my Vertuo machine for about a month. I hope you can help me more than the folks at Nespresso have. I'm not really happy with my Vertuo machine. It seems that the ratio of coffee to foam is both inconsistent and, frankly, too much foam - which cools the coffee especially once I add cream to it.
I've been using the various pods that come with the machine (sample pack that is).
Can you share your experience with me please?
I heat my coffee cream in the microwave. I love a lot of cream in my coffee and I love it hot hot hot! So if it’s liquid creamer just heat it in a small plastic cup in microwave for 20-30 seconds! Keep your eye on it so it doesn’t boil over and make a mess then adjust the seconds accordingly! Just a helpful hint I hope!

How is your coffee machine holding up because I was thinking of buying one but I was scared cause I heard the reviews About it leaks
leaks when its getting clogged or not properly put down water container.. I had the same problem which is gone, now that I'm careful all is good! There is no comparison to Keurig which makes so-so quality of coffee...

I ordered one of these online and was so pissed when it arrived. These capsule machines are trash... how can you clam to like espresso and pay for this shit? Lame, lame, lame.
