I saw the movie, you know, back when, and I've NEVER been so inspired, this girl (now woman) touched my heart, and I recomend her book to everyone, also the teachers at my old schools.

Stumbled by accident across the movie, the story and this amazing lady a couple of days ago. Her story, and her guidance points for making multiple choices every day to move forward are life changing and should be taught at school, and then every year after that too! Truly inspirational. Not just for those in poverty, but relevant to every living person.

I only just learnt about Liz Murray. I stumbled on the film 'Homeless to Harvard' just two days ago. Since then I've ordered her book and I can't wait to read it. I've looked at her interviews on YT, and she truely is amazing. She talks directly to all of us who are living in poverty everday, giving us all hope that we can make it, we just need to make that choice to do better no matter what.

Tonight my friend started reading her story over the phone : Prologue and Chapter 1. I was hooked. I could not wait for tomorrow night's reading. I looked up Liz and watched the full movie 'Homeless to Harvard.' I am now going to share her story. I love that she says you just have to turn the door knob.

Accidentally I came across this. It was almost 20 years back. It is inspiring, a great educational tool. So happy to know that she is very much happier in life.

It is hard to make yourself do things when the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Liz, you are right even in that position there is a choice. I really needed to hear your words. Thank you. You have inspired me to continue to end this semester on good terms. So close to the end of the semester, so I will try to shift from this slump
