Hello Alvin. Nice n quiet now! I need to replace the heater core in my 66 tbird non a/c. I only hope that it can come out as easy as yours did. Probably not! Enjoying your videos, keep 'em coming! George B
Great video Sir! I will just add, for anyone pulling their heater box weather it be for the motor, wheel or core, just buy all 3 regardless. I needed a new core, but figured "While I'm there" and have easy access, now's the time to go new on everything while it's out. Also for some Fords you can find a new heater box seal kit (unfortunately not for the 73-79 F series. Be careful when pulling/installing the connector for the blower motor resistor, there was only 2 places I found that sold this particular resistor, and currently, they are both sold out.
Super,I have the same truck and engine 79 .Currently doing the same job, except I have dash removed for other tasks.Wasnt sure about ordering that 4 seasons unit, but now know it fits.
Could you drill a hole in the base of the squirrel cage to get to those two bolts behind to pull the motor out? Then pull the cage off and pull out the motor from the other side?
I'm sure you can, however, with most short cuts, there is a price to pay. In this case, the squirrel cage will most likely be out of balance, and vibrate at high speed.
Great video. I need to replace the blower motor, I might as well change the fan and everything else. Thank you!
@@YoakinDamian you're welcome, and thank you for stopping by my channel. 🙂
Well done my friend. You made it look easier than it is. More room than a T-Bird but still.fidely.
Thank you Walter, other than the shag up with the firewall insulation, the job was simple to do, and it is soooo much quieter now! Lol

That is all great advice...why do the job twice, if you don't have to.
Thanks for the comment!

@@J_R_Shop Hmmm good point. I have to do this as the motor is screeching bad. Not looking forward to the process.
