Aftab Iqbal is also a noted journalist who writes for numerous English-Language and Urdu-Language publications including the English The News International and Newsweek Pakistan as well as the Urdu-language Nawa-i-Waqt. He graduated with a master's degree from the Government College University in Lahore in 1985 and studied media at San Jose State University in California in 1986. Undoubtedly, Mr Aftab Iqbal is an excellent story teller - one night in jail without any physical interrogation and the stories of his arrest continues.
I salute Azim Swati, Shabaz Gill and Imran Riaz Khan, who suffered severe punishments while they were in jail and yet, they didn't create adventurous stories.

Disheartening to see some of the negative comments. The trauma of the arrest can't be ignored especially in a military state like Pakistan where army is evolved in countless abductions and extra judicial killings. The journalists and authors are more dangerous for this kind of state rather than opposing politicians.
