I’ve seen a couple reviews on these, and yes the detail is awesome but pricewise they are not for me - I have some of the railroad ones from the bargain bin which I’ve weathered adding replacement ladders, and they look just fine for my modest layout - each to his own I guess 😊 Nice review Brocks 👍🏻
Good review but that underframe detail is completely unnecessary imho and makes what is quite a simple wagon rather expensive. My railroad versions, once the plastic wheels are replaced and NEM pockets added to replace the D link coupling are perfectly acceptable when running around the layout. Thanks for the video.
Odd. In real life these wagons are indistinguishable from each other...ie filthy black & brown...be so much cheaper if they just dunked them in said colours.
Wow 😮 The real things come with breaking equipment?? What are they used to break?? Surely....you mean BRAKING EQUIPMENT,meant to slow-down the vehicle?????

Nice model and well done to Hornby for doing a new model. Seems to be as good as Bachmann and cheaper too.
These look great tankers must sort some out on banks road soon..😊
great detail but getting rediculous now ,, do we really need underframe detail ??.. something you never see to hike prices up more

They have fitted them the wrong way around. Look at the real thing regards the ladders and under frame rodding and breaking equiptment

Undoubtedly a lovely model but at an average price of £30 each its now out of reach of most people.
