I’m a member at Keith Hills and play Chicora often (playing there today) I wish I would have known you were around. Both are great courses and you definitely need to come back to the area.
You should play Olde Sycamore in Charlotte, tons of corner cut opportunities. Also should check out Loonie Poole GC (NC State course) in Raleigh, very challenging.
Chicora was my home course when I played at Triton High a couple years ago. Definitely is a course that makes you question your short game if it's lacking!
Nice video kyle. Beautiful looking course. I feel you are hitting the ball more measured, as oppose the just crashing it. First thing i saw was you taking a bit off your shots. +1 for 9 aint bad. I love the callaway mavrick bags. Nice. Name on it aswel dude. 👍. One of these days you will eat up a course. -4, -5. It will come kyle.
Your chipping the ball great. And obviously being a junior golfer and collegiate golfer you obviously are aware of what I'm about to suggest. I'm a junior and collegiate as well and what I have found on these lightning quick greens around the greens I will putt it if I can and if not depending on lie and situation I will use a 7 or 8 iron and treat it exactly like a putt. This will keep the misses down from using a 56 or 60 degree wedge. Either left short or a blade past the flag. It's definitely a shot you should put in your repituar. Not necessarily all the time but certain situations will definitely benefit from using that shot. Your talking about saving stokes and like you said around the greens and short game will be where u shave those strokes off. Love your videos and I'm sure u have been told everything I posted but with your setup and some of your oops you have with wedges around the green I feel like you could greatly benefit having that shot in the bag. Thanks dude and keep on keepin on lol.
Kyle, great to see u back. You r the best view on UA-cam. I sincerely hope those commercials are beneficial to u because they r a nasty interruption to a great video. I am worried, whats to prevent UA-cam from getting us all addicted to UA-cam n then decreasing ad frequency to ??? Nothing, eh?
Dammit I’m in North Carolina in huntersville right now till Monday .... playing highland creek tomorrow birkdale Saturday and Larkin on Monday I just missed ya for that subscriber round 😂😂😂😂
You should play Riverwood. They have a 9 along the river that the entire right side is OB into the river for 4 holes in a row. Super tough for my slice 😂
Just played Chicora a month ago. Depending where ya at try Bayonet at puppy Creek in Raeford. Or just because they'd look good on video Tobacco Road or The Neuse in Clayton.
Kyle, ur cool, ur vids are great. Please try this for your next solo video. Its great that you consider course management eg hitting 2 iron on short par 4s, however, want to see you going for these gettable greens. Stick to your 2 iron for these shots for your score, would be great to then see you teeing up again with the driver and giving it a smash to try to hit these greens. I dont think anyone would mind seeing this and would be a winner for your channel? All the best.👍
Kyle while your in NC or the next time your in NC go play sequoia national in Cherokee. I played it a few years back and it's a very fun challenging course.
It’s members only, but my friends uncle is will Mackenzie, and they’re members at brook valley in Greenville, NC. Would love to see if you can shoot under par there!
Really love watching you play man. Some great stuff. Obviously you know this but I would love to see you work on your wedge game particularly chipping in around the greens. Some videos on it would be great to see how you can try control shots when slowed down. There was a substantial amount of rollout for a 60 degree wedge on one of those shots. Was it the lie or the type of shot you were trying? It would be great to see how you're working on your game too as well as course vlogs (which are awesome btw)
@@kyleberkshire3371 class man, looked like a beautiful day too. Over here in Dublin it's a bit different haha would still love some videos on how you work on individual parts of your game. Mostly so I can steal some techniques. Thanks for reply
Noticed you use your 60° a lot around the greens with chip shots, you should work on using everything but your 60 around the greens, get the ball on the ground as soon as you can. Love the vids, keep grinding 👍
Kyle is awesome. Ben Crenshaw, Gary Player, Corey Pavin, Zach Johnson, Ben Hogan, Jeff Sluman, Ian Woosnam. What do these guys have in common? None of of them hit the ball very far (by PGA standards) and certainly would be in awe of Kyles T-ball. However all of these guys made a nice living playing on the tour, why? Because they all had good short games and man could they putt and really putt in the clutch. I had a chance to caddie in several U.S. Open qualifiers and spent time with a PGA pro, he didn't drive the ball very far but I'm telling you he could putt, never seen anything like it.
I was wondering why not use a 5 wood instead of a 2 iron? Wouldn’t the 5 wood be more forgiving and go farther off the tee? The 2 iron seems to work great for you and I’m not suggesting you change but I was just curious. Keep up the great videos.
Great video! After you hit one of you very infrequent "bad" shots, are you typically as composed as these videos suggest? Or are you a little more like Freddie Couples, who obviously always seems relaxed and jovial, but, from what I understand, has had to learn how to control some strong emotions that may not seem obvious from the extremely professional manner he tends to exhibit on the course? Just wondering.
That 8 iron you hit over the tree on the 5th hole, you said you put the ball a little back in your stance and leaned back to get the ball up? I’ve never heard that before. Why did you do it that way, as opposed to moving it up in your stance?
It better to be short and I know you think about your shots but .25-.50 club more and your pin high on four shots out of nine. You get the height to stop them.
Kyle I noticed the white grips on all your clubs, so I went back through your "whats in the bag" post... no mention. What grips are using for your casual play and if different for Long Drive why?
just curious... why on straight away holes 350-400yrds with no trouble why hit a 2i and not take advantage of your length? i find a short pitch or chip shot easier than a 100-130yrd shot dont you?
It depends but at my speed it’s possible to hit it so far offline that you can bring in trouble that isn’t even considered a factor off the tee, when I’m scoring it’s typically better to go with an iron off the tee
I have never ever seen anyone use a 60 degree wedge so much. It is the hardest club in the bag to chip with and you use it even when you are almost in the fringe. Leave it home for the next round and chip with a 8 iron and i guarantee you will chip better.
That pin location on the par 5 was dumb. Having a hole reachable in 2 but then an amateur hour pin location is not how you design a par 5. But great vid as usual.
Maybe you could do a video where we see your long drive training. I think that’s a good idea.
I'm a simple man. I see Kyle, I click.
My favorite part of the video is when he says "what is up" in the intro.
If I am watching TV It is something golf. Best Thing to watch right now is this channel. Love love love the content. Keep it up dude.
If you want to play some crazy greens come to Lubbock Texas and play LakeRidge!!!
I’m a member at Keith Hills and play Chicora often (playing there today) I wish I would have known you were around. Both are great courses and you definitely need to come back to the area.
The open courses look easy. But god they can bite. Cheers great to watch
Kyle you should do more of a VLOG during one of your games and talk more about your though process about each hole. Would love to see it.
Great vid as always! Looking forward to the back 9!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State would be an awesome video for you. Number 11 from the tips is 667 all down hill.
I hope you do a tour of Europe and play some of the iconic courses here starting with Scotland..... of course assuming it is safe to travel again
You should play Olde Sycamore in Charlotte, tons of corner cut opportunities. Also should check out Loonie Poole GC (NC State course) in Raleigh, very challenging.
Lonnie Poole is amazing and the most challenging course ive played. long and tough! However i did get lucky and hit my 2nd ace on 14 though :)
Chicora was my home course when I played at Triton High a couple years ago. Definitely is a course that makes you question your short game if it's lacking!
I am Nicolas chicora
If you ever go up as far as Vermont, you must play Lake St. Catherine, it's so challenging and beautiful.
"This is a course you have to be careful on" as he flies a chip out of frame 😂😂😂 you got to love golf
Would be cool to see a match btwn you and Steven, the full thing.. not just your shots.
Good stuff, as always......thanks! Something to enjoy while I'm home after getting my shoulder scoped. No golf for a few months at least :(

Welcome to NC bro! I’m right down the road from you, come check out Reedy Creek!
Reedy creek is a diamond in the ruff!!! One of my favorite places to play! I make the hour drive with a smile!
Looking forward to seeing the match with Kois. That’ll be cool to see.
Keith Hills! I was a Fighting Camel myself. Hope you enjoyed
My dad was the golf course superintendent here for 13 years retired a few years ago. That’s home turf. Small world.

Increasing frequency not decreasing.. . . Autocorrect, great, aint it?
Kyle stop by Viniterra near Richmond. Would love to see you play it one foot on the rough. Nearly 7800 years. Love your videos!
Great vid great to see you back at it!!!

I live in Pinehurst, hopefully you will swing by soon!!!
The shot at 2:55 when he says he was a bit off to the right and way back is where us normal people play from constantly haha
You should play Riverwood. They have a 9 along the river that the entire right side is OB into the river for 4 holes in a row. Super tough for my slice 😂
Thx for all the hard work!! Apreciate it! My dad is cody ross! U should come someday to scottsdale Az! We could play Silverleaf maybe!???:)
Must be extremely difficult trying dial it down after swinging all out , kudos to you! Ps your putting is looking really good!👍
10:44 I still can't get over those numbers.

Your playing partner sounds super good! Good luck in your match!
Those greens are wicked fast even just chipping on short they rolled for days
Kyle it looks like your swing is definitely improving. Much more on plane with better rhythm!
Thanks, definitely been working on it!
Glad to see new content brotha! I want to see a hole with a go pro view lol. Especially for puts I think would be Awsome!
I’d love you to play Firethorn Country Club in NC. Challenging course
Kyle while your in NC or the next time your in NC go play sequoia national in Cherokee. I played it a few years back and it's a very fun challenging course.
Would love to see you play some courses here in Nebraska!
Best on course videos ever! 💪💪
Kyle great to see you the out day at Timberlake golf club.
Timberlake should be up next week!
Thanks for video let us know when merchandise is up forsale
It’s members only, but my friends uncle is will Mackenzie, and they’re members at brook valley in Greenville, NC. Would love to see if you can shoot under par there!
Another cracking vlog 💪
You should putt more from around the greens! A bad putt is always way better than a bad chip/pitch.
Bruh, 35 minutes from me. I gotta spend more time up at Chicora
If you’re ever back in NC come through riverbend!
New follower. Haven’t checked yet but do you ever play 1v1 and film it? Like to see how you do with some pressure. Love the vids so far man! Thanks

The biggest reason for the rollout was the greens were fast and firm so the ball was really able to check the way I wanted it to

Awesome. That’s one of my local courses.
It can definitely be tricky when it gets quick
hey guys WHAT IS UP!! gotta get that printed on some KB merch!
That knockdown shot at :43. That's how it's done.
How do you play in my hometown and my home course 3 years ago and I’m just know dining out you played reedy creek too😊
Practice putting on a billiard table for this course. Nice game.

Guessing he would hit a 5 wood too high making it vulnerable to wind. 5 wood also has way less spin also meaning harder to control.
You should play Hyland hills golf club it’s 40 bucks with a cart it’s a really good course
Great video! After you hit one of you very infrequent "bad" shots, are you typically as composed as these videos suggest? great to see you back Kyle.does your grip change from a round off golf to long drive comp
What a swing 🏌️♀️
Come on young buck! Chip it with a lower lofted club. ;)
Agreed, from a St. Andrews Caddie I'll second that.
ive been saying that every video. I dont think hes gonna stop with the 60 degree.
That 8 iron you hit over the tree on the 5th hole, you said you put the ball a little back in your stance and leaned back to get the ball up? I’ve never heard that before. Why did you do it that way, as opposed to moving it up in your stance?
Could you please turn down the thickness of the shot tracer line🙏 small change but looks incredibly better
Love the videos man, can I ask what your video setup is? Camera/ tripod?
i wonder what it feels like to hit your tee shot after kyle haha

I use the same type of grip, it’s a golf pride white tour wrap
Go play Royal New Kent from the tips!!
Play both Royal New Kent and the Club at Viniterra. Two great test of golf.
Let me know if you want to play Waverly Woods in Marriottsville, MD. Think you would enjoy the company.
My wife works for Congressional, if that sweetens the deal.
love these vids btw
Minor suggestion, leave a second of silence before the shot on sound up moments. I wanna really hear them! Love the videos man
Haha I normally do... was a bit rusty with this commentary... had a lot going on this week so it was tough to get a video out

Not saying they are comparable but Rory’s go to wedge around the greens for chipping is his 60*.
you notice this episode the shot tracer would somehow not work. lol
a little Heely lol carries 321 hahah
Any plans to play at PB Dye?
188 yards hits a 46😂
