nice little trick but I will never use it in real BIM project for two main reason.
1. Takes too long.
2. How are you gonna do away with quantity take-offs?

What is the best way to do area calculations? I was trying to figure this out yesterday. Do u think this can replace vectorial hatching for tile? This method also works with hardwood flooring too
