This year has already been, genuinly, absolutely crazy in music quality. One banger, one serve, after another. With Itzy and Nmixx starting the year, to I-dle shaking the industry, and Le Sserafim coming to straight slay the summer before spring can even start, just for rookies like Young Posse, I'llit, Babymonster and Kiss of Life serving absolute insane albums, and instead of giving us a break, no, 5th gen continues to debut with Unnis, Rescene and ARTMS making the run for rookies of the year too. And when we think, we can't handle anymore, we get a few a bunch of high quality Solo stuff, from J-hope, to RM, V, to Yuqi, IU, and I'm forgetting people, cause it's just been too much. And now New Jeans brings their best sound out yet, and without taking even a breath, comes aespa to bite literally everyone back by serving the album of the year. WTF else can happen in 2024??? I'm actually scared not being able to take all this in till the end of the year. Allegedly I-dle is also not done yet this year 😂 please send help! We all gonna need it!

I'm an Aespa stan, but this was a miss imho. It was trying too desperately to be edgy and dark. The visuals and concept were cool; and the girls slayed it as usual - so at least that was a win. But the lyrics and overall 'Armageddon' theme for the song & M/V were a miss as far as I'm concerned. I mean, compare this to any Babymonster song & M/V - which makes it to your playlist? Nuff said. (disagree if you like, but don't hate -- Flo has built a community where opinions can be expressed, even those of disappointment)

SM is trying to maintain concept image of the group while serving us good quality of sound. Babymonster is still in their debut era and not taking any risk which allows them play for charts and recognized. Comparing them with Aespa is a bit ridiculous tbh.
