Thank you to the Bruce family for sharing these. God bless! 🙏🏻👏🏻🫶🏻
For real man. Been loving seeing these. Gary is nailing it! Jacks bass could be higher in this mix tho.
I swear these videos were previously released, before Jack passed. I am glad they are available.
@@BubbaZen10That eb-1 probably sounded like an absolute beast in the room, but they're notoriously hard to record
@@jasondorsey7110 wish i could have seen them play. They sound great together!
Playing these through a decent hifi system and the the bass guitar is tremendous. Deep and resonant and, obviously, brilliantly musical. Gary’s guitar is excellent. If anything, the drums are a bit splashy, on this track anyway.
Jacks face when Gary starts ripping the solo is priceless
Gary blended so well with Jack. On par with what Eric could do. Bottom line is the songs of Cream were mostly Jack's songs. It was Jack with "his other two bandmates." And here, you can see that Jack could be with another 2 bandmates and sound just as good.
Bill, not sure what video you were listening to. This recording is quite good, but has one flaw, and it's the one you say is "blended so well". Gary's guitar is hammering everything else in the mix. Including the vocals.
@lesizmor9079 youre not wrong, but they're in a studio. Gary being "too loud" in the mix is definitely not his fault. The sound engineer should've checked the levels before.
Gary Moore was a gem, an absolute monster on that big, fat SG. A perfect match for Jack. God rest ye, merry gentlemen. Gary Husband also plays like no one else. Trio's have always been the backbone of rock.
💯 % Cream 2
Jack's rockin that violin bass 🔊 🔥
Come on. Compared to Clapton he is a …..
@@irwinansher8428 He is a....what? What was he?
RIP Jack,Gary and Ginger!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That Mudbucker...just such fantastic fat bottom and Gary's tone with that SG is spot on again. Keep the vids coming!
Yes, classic SG tone . That guitar has a vibe.
No entiendo cómo está no llegue a más oyentes esto si era verdadera música. R.I.P Jack Bruce
Brother could you just imagine these guys on tour? Gary Moore nails Clapton's version better than Eric did at the '05 reunion in London! And I know for a fact because I was blessed to be there on May 2nd!
@@brianwells4507slight age difference between Moore in ‘98 and Clapton in 2005 plus Clapton was playing a Strat instead of an SG or 335.
This is great. Moore on the SG and Bruce on the Gibson EB -1 violin bass. I remember the Cream reunion a few years back at the Albert Hall and was disappointed to see Clapton walk out with the Strat. Don’t get me wrong great concert but it didn’t quite sound the same. This however is what I expected sound wise.
RIP to Mr Jack Bruce and Mr. Gary Moore two of the greatest musicians of our time. May the music live on. Looking forward to the Jack Bruce cd Blu Ray box set.
My favourite Cream song. Only two chords but fantastic guitar solo. And great harmonies. Great song.
Too many of my heroes have left us for that great gig in the sky
Rest In Peace
And thanks for the jams🫡
I did a double-take as a read through the names in this videos. It did not disappoint.
I'll take this over the social media 'shredding' (sometimes even faking!) thing any day!
Dear Eric, this is how you play rhythm guitar.
Super 💪🏻👍
I was on a long overseas flight and listened to a collection by muddy waters how did that guy let Eric Clapton live after taking credit for everything he’s ever done ? Has Eric ever written his own song or riff?
Righteous Jack, diggin the hell out of the bad ass bass scales. Wondering If that is a Gibson electric bass fiddle? Moore and Husband right on que. Excellent mix. Bravo Maestros your spirit lives forever 🎸
Looks to be a Gibson EB-1.
@@visionsofhere3745 ok thanks, I'm diggin the retro styling. Bet it's fun to play.👍
Never seen Gary play an SG before.
Wow.
🤯..........
That Gibson bass either isn't making it, or they've got Moore's guitar too high up in the mix.
I loves me this song, and this mix is almost great. Gary's guitar is destructively loud in this mix. Jack having to eat the mic and shout instead of sing. A shame for a bunch of pros.
If there's ever been a musician trying to hard over playing its Gary
Stop it now.
Clown 🤡 take
More is more.Period!
Guitar too loud
You're too old.
Sounds amazing but Gary is too loud.
Of all the guitarists that Jack Bruce has.collaborated with, Gary Moore really channels the old Cream sound best.
Even better than Clapton on those reunion shows.
Fresh Cream was recorded in 1966. Eric was 21, Jack was 23 and Ginger was 27. They made some really great music. Still standing the test of time to this day. Kudos to Jack, Gary H and Gary Moore for doing such a bang up job. SUPERB!
This 'Cream of Cream' DVD is an absolute gem
What an amazing performance. Gary is just an amazing guitar player and of course the always great Jack that is just an outstanding of a bass player...
Love this song❤. Thanks so much for post this jewel. Cream and Jack Bruce forever.
Gary was just amazing. Being able to sing that well and play incredible guitar. A true star. Also, what a great recording.
This is not a great recording. It's pretty good, but the guitar is overshadowing everything else. A shame, because otherwise a great performance of a great song.
@@lesizmor9079 not how I'm hearing it
Absolutely amazing. What chemistry between the guys. Musical giants.
Jack and Gary are just the friggin best ❤
R. I. P, Gary and Jack, you are cruelly missed😢❤️From 🇫🇷 🌹
Love this version!
Yeah great version, it really rips!
Great performance and recording - in the studio! I'm just speculating here of course but the looks on Jack's face when Gary starts soloing makes me think he was f'ing loud, which considering what Jack was used to in Cream is saying something.
What tone, that's how an electric guitar should sound! Whole band fantastic as you'd expect
Moore had such a great voice, too.
DAMN This rocks!!! Perfect!
Gary so underrated during his life. A unique multi talented musical force.
He was never 'underrated '.
Antológico. Jack Bruce fazia a diferença.
Man, I saw CREAM, this is about as close as you can get to those GLORY DAYS, once EC gave up playing Gibsons, his time was up, ONLY a Gibson is good enough!
Yep, only a Gibson is good enough. Not fantastic, not great, just good enough.
Whatever dude, the dogs bark, the GIBSONS ROAR ON!@@lawrencegenereux8567
In my opinion, Jack was the best bass player....EVER!!!!
My personal opinion is that Gary Moore is far too loud and drowns everyone else out. Plays well though......
Gary’s not too loud, the other two are too quiet ❤
I think Eric Clapton was too quiet on the original. This is the best version of this song ever!!
I Love You, " I Feel Free ", Jack, And Two Gary, Moore & Husband:😍
Gary Husbands is an incredible drummer keyboardist on par with the greatest musicians out there. No doubt that Gary Moore was a very underated guitar player finally starting to get
the recognition he deserves. Check him out with Thin Lizzy, nice! Bruce, of course a legend in his own time, RIP. Great video, nice sound thanks for posting.
I had the pleasure of seeing Jack Bruce with West, Bruce and Laing. Great show from all three of them. Nobody played bass like Bruce, nobody.
I did get to see Mountain in 1970 & West Bruce & Laing in 1972 at Constitution Hall in Washington DC . Jack used one of his EBO Basses & Leslie his famous Les Paul Jr. with Corky playing his ass off on his usual kit. . What a great show & if memory serves tickets were like 6.50 cents. Corky still with us but we all miss Jack & Leslie very much. No one like either of them.
It's Jack Bruce turn up the bass; like to hear it in the mix 😒🤔
Oh, to have been in that studio for this session.....
I always enjoy hearing a guitar solo being note for note as the record. Gary kills this one…
Gary Moore was outstanding when it comes to interpreting someone else's solo, kind of like a classical pianist, even though the notes are basically the same his playstyle gives it new life
Sensational!
Gary more was the best lot he was something else
What shame BBM didn’t last. (I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did.)
Oh, the potential!
This lineup could of worked and maybe lasted longer!
It's love to hear more bass but dang Gary's tone!
Amazing recording
My favorite Cream song.
Loved this! Fantastic!
Well it’s for sure a great performance, but another case of ‘out balance loud’ . Guitar is to much. If the whole band is loud that’s one thing, when the guitar smothers the vocals and bass…. 🤦🏼♂️ SMH
🔥🔥🔥
Ozzy Osbourne once said that Gary Moore, had a face like a welders bench.
But, by Christ could he play a guitar.
Love that guitar sound. Gary Moore rocked.
Edward Van Halen loved Gary Moore's work. And the feeling was mutual. The music here 'splains why.
This is gold dust. Never seen Gary play an SG. Dare I say it, this is the best live performance I’ve seen of Cream songs, although some original live recordings, like Sleepy Time Time, Crossroads, Sitting on Top of the World, Lawdy Mama etc are some of the greatest things I’ve ever heard.
Gary turn down your amp.
Something tells me you wouldn’t have enjoyed being at a Cream show
Sehr gut gemacht.... wirklich....
Gary's Gitarre eine Stufe leiser... dann wäre es perfekt gewesen
aber...
ich bin beindruckt....
hätte nicht gedacht dass man das live hinbekommt...
starke Gitarrenharmonien.. 👍👍
sind halt Ausnahmekönner...
auch die Gesangseinlage zu Beginn
erste Sahne... ✨
Cream 2.0
This is especially hard to play and sing at the same time... Excellent version. Gary and Jack were always great together, even if they didn't manage more than one full album collab.
Fantastic
I had the pleasure of drinking with Jack a few times when he lived near me. Great guy, much missed
Fantastic!
Such a great tune!
On second listen one thing...can't hear the hi hat pattern which I love on the original. Still totally great though.
Fantastic! 👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing
Gary Moore is clearly having a whale of a time playing all those Clapton parts
As good as the original? Rocking out big time! Beautiful sounds.
Dude turn the guitar down in the mix, ruined it. Could have been brilliant.
Moore making a meal of a simple guitar solo. Typical...
Gary played with both hands if you know what I mean
That was epic! Thanks for sharing the video...
May their souls immortal as they are go on forever
Guitar is too loud...can hardly hear the bass...
Such pros, well done.
🔥🔥🔥
Freaking AMAZING!!! 💯🔥💫
I don't hate it. But it does highlight how beautiful Clapton's vibrato is/was.
💕👍
1:51 Got the lyrics wrong I think.
That was actually really good.
Jack bruce & gary moore🎼🎵🎶🎸🥁📣📯excelent !!!!! very good"😎👌
heavenly triumvirate.....
👏👏👏💫☄️
Gary's guitar tone and Jack's bass tone are both preposterous. Perfect.
The solo on the neck pickup is as immaculate as that SG. What a delightful sound.
Wonderful stuff.
I need an SG ❤
There are musicians of such a high standard that are referred to as master musicians and then there are a very few who have the title of professor mamady kieta from west Africa, ravi shankar from India and Jack Bruce from Glasgow Scotland
too fast.
Jack...😢❤
Aw YES 👍👍👍👍
That was absolutely incredible !
Never seen Garry on anything else than a Les Paul…then again GOAT is GOAT!
This is f*cking pumpin'! Exellent! 👏👏👏👍
