The song and the morning star story were so good, i think the main reason for rating is because it's a crime drama, many people got frustrated with writing once the real son woke up, me included.. Plot fell apart for me there. :/ I don't mean it's bad I would give it 9 out of 10 it was good most of the time but it's no masterpiece.
I just finished the drama and man..the acting of the actors.. especially do hyun su and ji won...it felt super real, it just touched my heart... whenever I see them crying with this song playing in the bg..my eyes become teary automatically. Two things about the drama that made me cry. This song and the part where jiwon decided to let Hyun Soo live he's life freely. And she asked her daughter if she wanted her father to be happy. The thought of letting someone go just for their happiness even tho It's hurts you made me cry. And it reminded me of my father who left.❤️
The acting in this was OUTSTANDING. That’s an understatement. Never have I felt a human being’s painful journey so completely as in this drama! At the end, it felt like redemption. And this song, sublime! She truly was his destiny. His morning star. Just beautiful, the whole thing.

If you're referencing Hyunsu's character in Flower of Evil, he had countless "betrayals" and traumatic events that when paired up with his antisocial personality disorder, puts him at a higher risk of forming violent tendencies. Ultimately, each person is unique with or without antisocial personality disorder and it is a person's unique responses/thoughts to experiences unique to them that form a person's state(s) of mind.
they didn't confuse anything. His anti-social disorder was there all along. He only became violent (in his adulthood) because of him not knowing how to handle trauma, living a lie, betrayal from loved ones and rejection from society. Flower of Evil was actually well researched and written.
I'm not actually sure of his diagnosis. He definitely had something, but I'm not sure if it was anti-social personality disorder, a lighter form of it or something else. To me, he was misdiagnosed and treated so unfairly he started to believe he actually couldn't feel anything. I think it stems from trauma more than anything else.

And in my opinion, this song is a way to convey Do Hyun Su's feelings, it's almost ironic that the chorus places heavy emphasis on the sentence "I feel you" and still so many people claim that he "loves Cha Ji Won, even though he isn't capable to"

There are some OST's that just "haunt" you for years, and this is one of them. I haven't watched the show for a few years now, but I still can't get this out of mind. The show also, although I haven't rewatched it, I don't think I need too, every second of that show is still ingrained in my very soul. I may watch it again at some point, it really is phenomenally written and the acting is out of this world, and the OST's - especially this one! - couldn't be any more perfect... 💜

I was touched how Ji Won called the psychiatrist, crying, telling her how could they missed the part where a child just got left by his mother and just labeled him 'someone who can't feel emotions'🥺 I love this Kdrama and this OST. And I just freaking love Lee Joon Gi's eyes!
