- Moveset Mastery Founder Sebastian Galotto presents the Kiryu Kazuma BRAWLER STYLE real-life moveset from Yakuza 0!
Sebastian´s MA breakdown: " The Brawler Style is Kiryu's most basic moveset. He uses a variety of strikes and can perform Counter strikes [Resolute Counters], which allows Kiryu to strike while he is getting hit. Hence the name Brawler Style.
He also uses headbutts! That´s cool...Just...be careful with that."
Most effective technique choice: (0:08) Front Kick.
Personal favorite: (1:52) 1,2, R.Uppercut, Downwards Backfist + [Heat action]

real yakuza use the counterhook
@@Omabatfartsbruh Exactly
Found Komaki's website
Bro, honestly I wanna fight just like that irl, no cap and with my cosplay of Kiryu and many more protagonists and their fight styles too
better go jim then cause brawler is VERY unrefined and that's kinda the point. would go with boxing but we all know how these two styles end against each other
@@rucksen fair enough g
@@rucksen grappling is more effective in a fight so like MMA or something
Certain punches from brawler are effective but not every, his counter hook is a legitimate punch that could hurt someone since its just an overhand counter. The only ever fighting style's that be effective from a yakuza game is literally kiryus rush style or shinadas style
@@armplanet7524 I like how Shinada by far the worse hand to hand fighter in universe has the best most realistic fighting style
watching expert martial artists pretending to suck at martial arts is always fun
also I'd like to see you replicate the fighting styles of other RGG characters, more specifically Yagami, the protagonist of Judgment
Yakuza 0 but instead of money flying out of enemies, it's pool noodles
This will be Yakuza 9 graphics in 2006
1:52 this is what I'm looking for
cant wait for a Yoshitaka Mine moveset
Great work 🔥
holy shit he managed to do the superman punch
Before got his signature Dragon style, Kiryu had to make do with these basic, but still powerful, moves.
Not the best, but they get the job done and that's all he needs.
Absolutely. Great style.
@@Moveset-Mastery Not to mention still useful even later in the game. Not so much in Kiwami 1 which refined the Dragon style.
@@Kingcole6 Yeah!
@@Moveset-Mastery Indeed
@@Kingcole6 gonna be real with you, brawler was better than dragon in k1
*Now do this in beast style*
Incredible
Nice
This video is rad
I wanna see someone do kiryu legendary style ngl
how about some of yagamis moves in judgment/lost judgment
Please make more these
This is some of the most entertaining content I've seen since 2016
Pls im trying to train like kiryu
You move more like Kaito or Thug Majima than young Kiryu. I guess it shows how exaggerated his moves really are.
1:03 and 1:39 were PERFECTION!
why isnt he drunk??
Sebastian, comparing all of the Yakuza 0 styles to each other, which do you think is most viable in real life?
It totally depends on the context, but I would say Rush (For Kiryu) , since it´s the most ideal to strike hard first and evade/run.
For Majima, I would say Slugger, clearly considering he has weapons, but if we don´t consider weapons, Thug is the best.
@@Moveset-Mastery his legend style does kind of suck in real life, impractical movements like breakdancing
@@toasterfighter Yeah but he has a tonto (knife). Wild and unpredictable blade work is very effective. Also Dragon Of Dojima works.
@@Moveset-Mastery Dragon Of Dojima style definitely works. It’s mainly a combination of Boxing, Karate, Judo and Wrestling according to the game’s creator. But now, it’s just a mix of the styles you learned in 0 but with Komaki’s training added in.
@@Shadowrulzalways tanto, but most of the moves are fucking useless
That's incredible! I've always wondered how these fighting styles would work in real life.
don’t try to fight like this in real life
@@logandunlap9156 I won't. It's interesting to see it irl
@@logandunlap9156 Yeah this looks fucking dumb to do in a real fight. Personally an intellectual fighter like myself would rather use Break Dancing as my main primary form of combat
@@andrewvillatoro4605 square square square triangle (not to confuse with slugger style)
The Brawler style is just Dragon Of Dojima unrefined.
But I hope to see you perform Dragon Of Dojima soon.
I think your form is a little too good. I think if you made your swings a little sloppier it'd look more accurate. Good video overall 👍
Smooth movement set!, you can notice the work and dedication!
Sorry if I missed it but did you include the counter hook in there?
Really nice video! Next time try the dragon of dojima style
Thanks!
The Dragon/Legend Style it's going to be done!
you're ready for the streets!
i could not have been happier to have just discovered this channel
i want to learn brawler style irl but i just cant remember the moves
Check out movesetmastery.com to learn the brawler style and get in incredible shape.
This is pure masterpiece!
Yoo, are you gonna do all the styles?
Dragon style when?
Make Dragon Of Dojima next
What is the punch called when he finished the upper cut 0:11
This is beautiful, when I will get better at martial arts I definitely will try to replicate all the styles
Looking forward to see you!
On fire🔥! Epic!
irl Kiryu wearing my school uniform no way
The superman heat action too...
Very cool guys!!!!!
so clean
splendid
or akiyamas moves
Oh man I really wanted to see you do Kiryu's Double Finisher for this style.
Maybe next time if you get around to his DoD style before Yakuza 6?
Thats Rad!
That's rad!
I Definitely see the inspiration from Eric Jacobus's Tekken videos, can't wait to see what else you guys make 👍
You should do the classic Kiryu style, or legend style if ur talking yakuza 0
HELL YES i've been looking for a moveset showcase like this for years now! Dude I would greatly appreciate it if you could do some of the flashier moves in Kiryu's legend style. There's one particularly extreme move i've been trying to learn but couldn't practise safely which is this move ua-cam.com/video/59tUiXZsEQA/v-deo.html
I would love to see you perform this if you can! Subbed btw!
Hey! Alright, I´ll do that one for you! It´s a front-rolling thunder, but the y4-y5 version.
Thanks for the sub 🐉
@@Moveset-Mastery so brawler style is a mix of Street Fighting and boxing skills
@@MrBrandonStar Actually, it’s boxing, judo and some kicking from karate. It’s supposed to be an unrefined version of Dragon Of Dojima style.
@@Shadowrulzalways ok cool
What’s really neat about this style is that Kiryu never realized how big the pond his was in really was.
The combos he used in the beginning were little more than improved combos used by standard enemies.
But as Kiryu starts fighting absolute monsters, Kiryu learns the only way to keep up with a monster is to become a dragon
I wonder, is Kiryu's Dragon style actually efficient in a fight?
It could be. You have to remember, he fights dirty, too.
But according to the game’s original developer, the DoD style was originally a mix of boxing, karate, wrestling and judo. But thanks to a few retcons in 0, it’s a mix of beast, rush and brawler. And then after training with Komaki (who’s martial art is a mix of Jujutsu and other Japanese arts) his style is now more refined.
I’d say it is. Though remember, some of Kiryu’s feats are a bit ridiculous.
