All that big technology around in hangars and in the small display cabinet sandals made from old worn US Army truck tires that were used by Vietnamese people. It was stunning to me. It is not an art to build something when all materials and resources are widely available. It's an art to do something by using minimum or almost nothing.
If someone wanted to build an unsinkable boat or raft, this would be the way to go. If you used 2 liter PETE soda pop bottles, it'd be practically indestructable - those soda bottles are pretty strong.

I have collected a couple of bottles over the past few weeks to use for an IoT indoors garden. Hopefully i can shoot the process for this channel
im surprised that it only takes 200 water bottles to carry a man and his weed eater, that thing looks like it would have no freeboard and sink instantly from its own weight
