The thing about Kaiserreich is that it was never really made for post-Weltkreig playing, which is sad because it typically ends in -42. It’s also not really designed for carving your own path and story, more just your own small arc within the larger picture.
There are quite a few countries that have content post-Weltkreig? And in the upcoming reworks most majors will have content for it, although no cold war content yet. Also, most countries can join one of the major factions and join in the larger conflicts, Tommy just decided not to :). But yeah, the war normally ends too fast. Tbf, my in my last game it did end in '45 for the first time.

Volunteers not reinforcing because "no access to capital" is not a Kaissereich bug, it’s a vanilla bug. Reloading the save is all it takes to fix it.

French Republic gets a 3WK focus if you get your cores back from the commune. But yeah, definitely something the devs are working on.

When i get this bug while sending volunteers to Spain, it usually can be solved by reloading the game, usually works fine after that.
