Thanks for review. The instructions describe 6 different filters. Switching between them should be done by pressing the “+” and “-” buttons simultaneously. How can one determine that the filter has switched, and how can one know which of the 6 filters is currently in use? Thank you in advance for your response.
Thank you for the kind words, really appreciate it 🙂❤️ As for filter change, the led flickers indicating the filter has changed. To be honest you shouldnt worry much as the filters dont change sound much
Thank you for this review! I have this one and I can attest to your findings. With my DAC dongles, I have small magnets that I stick behind the dongle and the case of whatever transport I am using with double sided tape. This allows the dongle to stick on the device and not move around. Magnets are convenient.
Thank you for stopping by! 🙂 Appreciate it. yes i too have a similar setup, have been very busy. So didnt get time to share it 😅 Magnets are indeed very convenient for things like these.
Another great review. Though not quite as portable (by a long shot lol 😂) I already have a healthy dose of the AKM sound with the new FiiO Q15 I recently acquired.
This is a good dac. I woildnt call this dac neutral. if you want something neutral, have a look at this :- m.ua-cam.com/video/-IX2bFxJ1Ds/v-deo.html its only $50 and cheaper than the CDA M1P, This budget dac is my budget dongle dac pick
Ok the words are the same as a review I read, but had left out the name of the 1985 album, so it's cassioepia, ok..so I know already what you will say.. 😅
@@hokagoteatimereviews headfi.. Good review.. I have decided to buy this, to replace my Hiby R3 Sabre, which is boring and has no bass to speak of 😁.. My son will like it.. He likes neutral stuff
SQ for me was pretty good, nothing overly impressive or poor. Yuki is better imo. However it's more like a desktop unit given the weight and how hot it gets. Nice job
you are exactly right. It is twice price But what i mean to say is that atleast for few dongles i have tested the jump in performance isnt that apparent when going from 50-80 or 50-100, but the jump from 50-60 from 150-ish very apparent. for iems you do see the performance jump, but for dongle dac's its a bit more. Hope i was clear 🙂

Good showcase review and explanation of the product
Thank you so much for the kind words! ☺️
Nice review, I didn't find that bizarre moving usb c port on my unit so that is definitely a QC issue
Thank you! Appreciate it. 🙂
Yes seems like a QC issue.
Just tried a 4.4 jack on mine because I have used only 3.5 until now and also no issues with the USB port
Thats great your port has no issues 🙂
looks really nice!
Yes it does!! Thanks for stopping by 😄
Entre este y akliam pd4 cual es mas detallado?.
Do you prefer m1p or DC04PRO?
Hello, thanks for stopping by.
Sorry dont have the DC04 Pro to compare it 😔. But Andy from dongle madness has one he likes them both.

Thank you!! yes they are not quite portable 😅
The Q15 seems great would be nice to see how they compare to the CDA M1P
How is moondrop dawn pro for a beginner audiophile?
I personally havent used it. But for a beginner the dawn pro is more than enough 🙂
Hmm... I ordered this DAC for the em6l based on other reviews describing it as neutral. Maybe the treble difference lies in the digital filters?

Hi, how does the sound compare to Snowy Night? I don't know which should I get.
The snowy night is much more neutral sounding. While the colorfly is very warm sounding 🙂
It depends on your choice on what you like.

Yes the yuki is still better, but this makes a pretty good case for it at its price point 🙂
Yuki is twice the price though, so it's not really a fair comparison.
@mayonotes9849 no but I also consider any 43198 dac better. Like Shio, KA5, Yuki. I'm just being nice to the product cause it does sound good too.
