- CALAX - Silang Segment update as of February 2020
After the official opening of #CALAX and toll collection was given a green light by TRB, let us check the status of the next section starting from Santa Rosa Interchange to Silang East Interchange. This part of #CaviteLagunaExpressway is considered as the highest portion of the 42km toll road. It crosses hills and forest. Elevation is a little bit high from Santa Rosa and you could see more elevated bridges on this portion. There is still a 1km right of way issue to be resolved and hopefully by the end of this year we are going to see this section complete and open to the public.

I am from GMA, Cavite. Complicated talaga ang terrain dyan. Marami kaming Ilog dyan dati, running all the way from Silang to GMA.
Iba talaga ang adminstration ngayon nakakaproud for the future of Philippines..

Yung silang segment mukha siyang sctex nung ginagawa pa lang dahil sa mga tinapyas na bundok. Sana yung magkabilang gilid ng calax sa silang segment gawin service road hehe
Maganda itong portion na to ng calax. Yun mga slope at forest medyo naiba from industrial scenario naging mala eco park.

I hope they can also build an all-weather expressway in Baguio too in the future for the mobility of goods. It may be expensive but most travellers will use it.
Alam mo bullet train ang project ni marcos na aakyat ng baguio noon,pinatalsik ninyo lang siya kaya hindi natuloy ang bullet train na yan na paikot ng luzon

Actually meron ako update taken around january and one before december or december ata pero ndi ko na pinublic sir. At ndi rin siya complete.

Captain Cookie Gago! I've been to Pampanga, Bulacan, Bohol at Palawan. Under the Duterte government maraming road widening, DPWH projects sa mga flood control, water ports, bridges, airports at ibang mga projects.
At kailan naisipan ng gagong dilawan mo ang cabling and subway transportations?

Diti sa section na ito baka wala pero dun sa mamplasan meron toll service facility na gagawin po.

Di pa bukas ang toll gate sa gate 3. Maski yung iban toll gates. Except yung mamplasan at sto domingo
Bro exit (off ramp) lang ata from cavite/tagaytay route. At entry going to tagaytay/cavite route. From mamplasan di tayo makababa sa gate 3 at di maka akyat going to mamplasan. Yung sa Don Jose Sta Rosa Pwede mag exit at makaakyat going to mamplasan.
Yun ang nakikita ko, di ko sure kung babaguhin pa
Parang kulang sa equipment at manpower. Wala akong nakikita gaanong obstruction except yung mga waterways medyo malalim talaga. Baka hindi matapos yung project na ito ng March 2022. Dapat magdagdag sila ng equipment at tao!!!!

Hoping they could have just made those mountainous areas into tunnels para mas mapadali.
Probably there are geological issues and cost issues when itncones to tunneling.
@@dmitrivalencia I watched a video of an expressway in South Korea that has numerous tunnels and bridges on it. I think it would be cool here. Pero problema nga ang lindol baka magcollapse yung tunnel. Add the costs at construction na mas mahal at matatagalan (because no TBM)

You did not mention again, so as not to misled the public, that this project CALAX is purely privately funded by the Manny V. Pangilinan group of companies intended to be a toll road, n no government fund was used in this project!
